Slayers 2 has 11 lanterns listed in the October 1, 2026 update to Pro Game Guides. You can buy one from an NPC, hunt bosses and chests for others, fish for one, complete a hidden quest, or craft a lantern after solving a puzzle. Below is the full reported stat list and a lantern-by-lantern route. Drop rates and stats are guide-reported, not independently verified game telemetry.

How to get each lantern
Cherry Blossom: buy it from Kuro at night
Pro Game Guides reports that Kuro sells Cherry Blossom for 2,400 Wen at Bamboo Grove Sanctuary at night, near a gateway by The Serpent King Obari. There is conflicting location information: Gamezebo’s September 18, 2026 search-result extract places Kuro in the Mother Bear area at night. Since the guides disagree, look for Kuro at night and check both reported areas if he is not where expected; neither location is independently verified here. Gamezebo’s guide was available only as a search extract.

Lantern of Despair: farm Ice Chests from Kuzan
Pro Game Guides reports a 6% chance to get Lantern of Despair from an Ice Chest. From the Iceveil Valley shrine, head east to Reaper Trainee Kuzan’s cave and defeat Kuzan to earn an Ice Chest. The reported chance is a secondary-guide figure, not a verified in-game drop table.
Abyssal: use the same Ice Chest route
Abyssal is also reported to come from Ice Chests earned by defeating Kuzan, at a 2% chance according to Pro Game Guides.

Emberheart: defeat Yeti Demon
Pro Game Guides reports a 25% drop chance for Emberheart from Yeti Demon. Its route starts at the Butterfly Estate shrine: go to the Red Bridge, descend to the ridge, then pass through a waterfall into the cave. You need a Frozen Heart to start the fight. The guide reports that Frozen Hearts can come from Rare Chests or Sealed Cache Chests, each at a 10% chance, or from the Black Marketer; it does not give a rate for the latter.
The reported Emberheart stats differ between guides. Pro Game Guides lists +0.35 Illumination, +40 Max Health, and +20 Max Stamina. Gamezebo’s September 18 search-result extract instead lists +0.8 Illumination, +45 Max Health, +40 Max Stamina, and additional Technician bonuses. These claims should not be combined or averaged; the table above consistently uses the October 1 Pro Game Guides entry.

For travel in the snow region, the community Project Slayers 2 map advises using Emberheart or campfires because cold drains health, and says Cold Immunity must be recharged at campfires. Treat that as community guidance rather than an official mechanics reference.
Fujiko’s: farm Common Chests
Pro Game Guides reports a 1.5% chance for Fujiko’s Lantern from Common Chests. Those chests are earned by defeating Zuko near Windy Peak or Mother Bear near Bamboo Grove Sanctuary.

Mushroom Lit: complete the hidden cave sequence without a lantern equipped
- Unequip your lantern before speaking to Old Trapper Retsu.
- Choose the dialogue option “Lantern on your belt.”
- Enter Reaper Trainee Kuzan’s cave and quickly step on the glowing mushrooms at the far right.
- Collect the lantern in the cave to the right.
Pro Game Guides warns that the sequence can reset if you take too long on the mushrooms, and that an equipped lantern prevents the quest from counting. The guide describes this as a secret quest, so follow the prerequisite before entering rather than assuming the cave step alone will unlock it.
Nichirin: earn Ouwigahara dungeon rewards
Pro Game Guides reports these Nichirin odds: 5% from an Ouwigahara Chest, 5% from an Ouwigahara Cache, and 10% from an Ouwigahara Deep Cache. The guide places the portal east of Forgotten Plains near the Flame Trainee Boss; it says every 10 dungeon floors awards a Cache, while regular Ouwigahara Chests can be opened for 30,000 dungeon points.

Firstlight: solve the Ouwland memory puzzle, then craft it
- Climb the mountain to the right of The Serpent King Obari and enter the building. Double Jump and Wall Climb are recommended for reaching it.
- Speak with Lamplighter Isamu to obtain the Schematic and begin the puzzle.
- Complete five rounds by walking over the plates in the order they light up.
- If you step on the wrong plate, the guide says the puzzle progress resets. Once you have the Schematic, craft Firstlight at Ouwland.
Lost: progress Final Selection or try fishing
Pro Game Guides reports a 0.9% chance from Lost Chests in Final Selection progression. Its route involves taking Mizuto’s quest into an underwater cave, where the Lost boss and chests are found. The guide also names fishing as an alternative way to obtain Lost, but does not publish a fishing rate.
Demonic: open World Event Chests
Demonic is reported at a 3% chance from World Event Chests. Pro Game Guides lists the associated bosses as Gyutai, Domai, Yahari, Sumari, Reaper, Nezura, Enru, Obar, Gyoreii, Saneri, Shinora, Giyen, and Rengu.
Everburn: no current method reported
Pro Game Guides reported on October 1, 2026 that Everburn had no current obtainment method. The page says a future method was confirmed by developers on Discord, but does not reproduce a primary-source announcement, so no release timing or confirmed acquisition route can be established from that report.

Nichirin also has +2 Additional Damage, without a listed damage factor.
- For blocking: Firstlight is the only listed lantern with Block Points and Block Regen bonuses.
- For movement or stamina recovery: Mushroom Lit has the largest listed Movement Speed Factor and Stamina Regen Speed bonuses among the entries that report those stats.
- For health recovery: Abyssal is the listed option with a Health Regen Speed bonus.
- For cold exposure: Everburn lists Cold Immunity, but Pro Game Guides reported it had no current way to obtain it as of October 1, 2026.
- For an easier first pickup: Cherry Blossom is a reported NPC purchase, while several stronger options require low-rate chest or boss farming, dungeon progression, or a multi-step puzzle or quest.
All drop percentages and methods above are claims from secondary guides; no first-party lantern catalog or official drop table was located for this coverage. Treat them as route-planning estimates and confirm any changed mechanics in-game.
