The build requires five parts: a Window, Submarine Top, Side Fins, Back Fins, and Metal Panel. Once inside, progress through the Heat, Ice, and Deep upgrades in the first three layers of Mariana’s Veil.
How to get the submarine
Mariana’s Veil is a permanent area introduced in Fisch update 1.19.0, and the submarine is its entry vehicle, according to the Fisch Wiki’s Mariana’s Veil guide. Find Dr. Glimmerfin by the Roslit Bay lighthouse and dock, then collect the five submarine components and assemble them on the translucent submarine beside him.

The original collection route in Beebom’s guide is to take Glimmerfin’s drill and use it on obsidian rocks. The guide, updated February 22, 2025, places Glimmerfin at X=-1439, Y=130, Z=511, but those coordinates and the drill route may no longer match the live game. Beebom’s submarine guide
A community wiki updated June 8, 2026 reports that obsidian rocks may be absent and recommends redeeming the code TEMPORARYSUBMARINE for the parts. This is a reported workaround, not an officially confirmed code; try it in the game’s code redemption interface and check whether it is accepted. After placing all five parts on the submarine, speak to Dr. Glimmerfin again. That conversation unlocks the ability to spawn the submarine.
How to enter and control the submarine
Approach the submarine and use the on-screen prompt to enter. Beebom reports E to enter, Q to descend, and E to ascend on PC, but the repeated E binding may depend on context, and controls can vary by platform. How submarine upgrades work
There are three upgrades in the first three Mariana’s Veil layers: Heat in Volcanic Vents, Ice in Challenger’s Deep, and Deep in Abyssal Zenith. Each upgrade also advances the Glimmerfin Suit, which is part of the next layer’s requirements. The item lists below reflect community walkthroughs; the two older crystal requirements are disputed, so inspect the upgrade podium’s live turn-in display before making extra trips.

These later walkthrough lists come from the Fisch Wiki’s Mariana’s Veil guide. Beebom’s February 2025 guide additionally lists a Lava Crystal for Heat and an Ice Crystal for Ice; the later lists omit both, so the currently required crystal status is not established consistently. Heat Upgrade: Volcanic Vents
Collect Inferno Hide, Infernal Iguanafish, and Blisterback Blenny, then take them to the Heat upgrade turn-in point in Volcanic Vents. Beebom says the fish and Inferno Hide are obtained by fishing in the area; its guide also lists a Lava Crystal, described as mined from lava rocks. Because the later walkthrough excludes that crystal, verify the podium’s displayed requirements before spending time looking for it. Completing the upgrade gives the Heat Upgrade and Glimmerfin Suit Level 1.
Ice Upgrade: Challenger’s Deep
For the Ice upgrade, the later walkthrough lists Cryoskin, Polar Prowler, and Glimmerfin Suit Level 1. Bring the items to the upgrade point in Challenger’s Deep. Beebom’s older list also includes an Ice Crystal, but the later list does not; use the live turn-in display to resolve whether it is required in your game. Completion grants the Ice Upgrade and Glimmerfin Suit Level 2.

Deep Upgrade: Abyssal Zenith
The Deep upgrade requires Abyssal Bearded Seadevil, Voidglow Ghostfish, Angler’s Lantern, and Glimmerfin Suit Level 2 in the later walkthrough. The two fish are caught in the Abyssal Zenith pool. To obtain the lantern, use an Orca, Kraken, or Ancient Orca near an Angler. The area guidance describes feeding an Orca or Kraken to make an Angler sleep, then collecting the lantern while avoiding other Anglers that remain hazardous.
