1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsIn Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can give Curse to an Eevee you already have without breeding: let Eevee hold a Mirror Herb, have another Pokémon in your party know Curse, and start a Picnic. The game lists Curse as an Eevee Egg Move, and the Mirror Herb method transfers Egg Moves during a Picnic. This method is specific to Scarlet and Violet; the title alone does not identify which game you’re playing.
Transfer Curse to an Eevee you already have
- Check Eevee’s move slots. If you want to keep all its current moves, make sure it has an open slot before the transfer.
- Give Eevee a Mirror Herb to hold. Eevee is the recipient of the Egg Move.
- Put a different Pokémon that knows Curse in your party. This Pokémon is the donor. It does not need to be Eevee, share an Egg Group, or be compatible with Eevee as a breeding partner for this transfer method.
- Start a Picnic. The move transfers during the Picnic; you do not need to hatch an egg.
- Check Eevee’s moves after the Picnic to confirm that it learned Curse.
For the move’s Scarlet and Violet learnset listing, see Pokémon Database’s Eevee generation 9 move learnset. Serebii describes the Scarlet and Violet Mirror Herb transfer method and lists Eevee’s Egg Moves in its Eevee Egg Move entry.
Does this count as breeding?
No. Using a Mirror Herb puts Curse on an existing Eevee; it does not produce a new Eevee. Curse is listed as an Eevee Egg Move in Scarlet and Violet, but the Picnic transfer is the direct route when you want to teach it to an Eevee already in your party.
What if you mean hatching a new Eevee with Curse?
That is a separate goal from transferring the move to an existing Eevee. The sources establish that Curse is on Eevee’s Scarlet and Violet Egg Move list, but they do not establish a specific compatible parent recipe for hatching an Eevee with Curse. Don’t assume a parent species or breeding chain without checking the rules for the particular game.

Why the game version matters
The steps above are for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Eevee’s move learnset and breeding rules vary by generation, so the Mirror Herb Picnic instructions should not be treated as a universal recipe for older games. Bulbapedia’s Eevee reference includes information across generations, while Game8’s guide covers Egg Move learning and transfer in Scarlet and Violet.
