You can buy pet eggs at Petricia’s Pet Shop in Port Jackson or Malley’s Pet Shop in Smuggler’s Bay. The Chocolate Egg hunt is documented as a 2024 event, but its current availability is unconfirmed.
How to get pet eggs
Visit either of the listed pet shops and buy an egg with Coins or Gems. A guide updated October 3, 2026 lists these locations and prices; shop details can change when the game is updated.
- Petricia’s Pet Shop: Port Jackson
- Malley’s Pet Shop: Smuggler’s Bay
| Egg | Listed price | Best available rarity listed |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Egg | 750 Coins | Epic |
| Royal Egg | 1,500 Coins | Mythic |
| Ruby Egg | 1,000 Gems | Mythic |
| Void Egg | 2,500 Gems | Mythic |
These prices and rarity details are reported by metanew!’s pet egg guide, not an official developer listing. The guide says pet rarity affects passive fishing-rod boosts.
What about Chocolate Eggs?
Chocolate Eggs were part of a historical Easter event at Port Jackson in 2024, rather than one of the shop eggs. The Fishing Simulator Wiki’s event page says players spoke with the Steampunk Traveler to start the Lost in Time questline, then collected 50 Chocolate Eggs scattered around Port Jackson. The reported rewards were the Lotus Flower Rod and an Aquarium Egg UGC item, which the page described as limited to 10,000 stock.

The wiki’s update history says update 3.7.1 removed Port Jackson’s Easter reskin (update history). That is evidence the event was time-limited, not proof that the quest has never returned. The Roblox experience listing does not confirm a currently active Chocolate Egg event. Check the in-game event area or current developer announcements before following an old event walkthrough.
