To get Frostspike in Grow a Garden, join a server during the Frozen Ice King event and help fill all five offering platforms near the Event Hub with eligible Divine, Prismatic, or Transcendent crops. Guides report that the Ice King then rewards participating players with a Frostspike seed. The event’s return schedule is unknown, so you’ll need to wait for it to appear in-game.
How to get the Frostspike seed
- Watch for the event. Check in-game announcements and the Roblox Grow a Garden listing for current events. The listing shows events but does not promise that the Ice King event is running or will return.
- Join while the event is active. Guides call it the Frozen Ice King, Ice King, or Awaken the Ice King event. Follow the live event text and current landmarks if they differ from older guides.
- Find the five offering platforms. They are reported near the Event Hub.
- Offer eligible crops. The reported eligible rarities are Divine, Prismatic, and Transcendent. Examples in guides include Mushroom, Burning Bud, and Bone Blossom.
- Wait for all five platforms to be filled. Guides report that this frees the Ice King and rewards participating players with a Frostspike seed. They do not establish that every player in the server qualifies, so follow the live event’s instructions.
What to prepare before offering crops
The offering is described as a sacrifice: you give up crops from your garden. Before the event, set aside eligible crops you can afford to lose. Rarity alone does not determine whether an offering is worthwhile for you; weigh each crop’s value to your garden against your willingness to part with it. No lower-cost guaranteed alternative acquisition method is established by the available guides.

When does the Ice King event happen?
No reliable recurring schedule for this specific event is established. A September 2025 guide said it was unclear whether admins would run the weather event again, and the current Roblox listing does not confirm a Frostspike event. Treat the event as availability-dependent rather than weekly or guaranteed; check in-game notices and the live event display.
What is Frostspike worth?
The community-maintained Grow a Garden Wiki lists Frostspike as a Legendary, multi-harvest crop, gives an average crop value of 45,000 Sheckles and a price-floor value of 40,612 Sheckles, and lists September 20, 2025 as its addition date. These are wiki figures, not official developer statistics, and should not be treated as guaranteed sale prices.

How certain are the event details?
The five-platform offering method is described by secondary guides, including BO3.GG’s September 24, 2025 guide and GameSpot’s guide. The Roblox listing is useful for checking the game and its displayed events, but it does not document Frostspike’s mechanics. Event names, landmarks, availability, and reward eligibility may change; use the instructions shown in-game when the event is live.
