V-Bucks Cards do not qualify. Epic’s available Fortnitemares 2026 announcements do not confirm how to unlock Jack-a-Nap or establish its exact name, so specific quest instructions circulating elsewhere should not be treated as verified.
How to get the Gold Punk Outfit
Epic says Gold Punk is granted automatically when you redeem an eligible Fortnite Gift Card during the promotion. The offer runs from October 2 through October 31, 2026, inclusive. It is tied to redeeming a gift card, not a standalone free cosmetic claim.
- Make sure you have a Fortnite Gift Card. A V-Bucks Card is not eligible.
- Sign in to the valid Epic Games account where you want the outfit and redeem the code at epicgames.com/redeem during the October 2–31, 2026 promotion.
- Launch Fortnite and check your Locker for the Gold Punk Outfit. Epic says the V-Bucks are added and the outfit is granted automatically.
Epic also says the redemption earns 20% back in Epic Rewards for eligible future purchases through Epic’s payment system. See Epic’s Gold Punk promotion terms for the offer details.
Gold Punk eligibility and deadline
- Eligible card: Fortnite Gift Card only; V-Bucks Cards are excluded.
- Redemption dates: October 2–31, 2026, inclusive.
- Account: a valid Epic Games account.
- Territory: you must be in a territory where Fortnite Gift Cards are sold.
- Limit: one Gold Punk Outfit per Epic Games account.
Epic’s cited terms do not establish a separate minimum card value or list eligible countries, so check the current card availability and offer terms for your territory rather than assuming every region qualifies.

Is Jack-a-Nap an unlockable Fortnitemares 2026 skin?
The official Fortnitemares 2026 material available here does not confirm Jack-a-Nap’s unlock requirements, quest objectives, progression threshold, or deadline. Epic’s October 1 event overview describes October activity in Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload, with new characters arriving through the month, but does not give a Jack-a-Nap quest path. The supplementary Fortnitemares 2026 community post likewise does not document those steps.
Community posts use a similar spelling, “Jack-A-Nape,” and associate it with quests, but that does not establish the official outfit name or a reliable list of requirements. Until Epic publishes specific instructions, there is no verified quest checklist to follow. Check Fortnite’s in-game quests and Epic’s official announcements for any confirmed objectives.
