At the start of Year 3, Grandpa evaluates your farm; reaching 12 points lights all four candles and lets you claim the Statue of Perfection by interacting with the Shrine. The Stardrop-shaped carving that can appear there later is only a visual marker, not an item.
How to claim the Shrine’s reward

Build evaluation points through milestones in the first two years. The evaluation considers earnings, skills, achievements, relationships, Community Center progress, and key access.

Check the candles at the start of Year 3. Four lit candles mean your farm scored at least 12 points.

With four candles lit, interact with the Shrine to claim the Statue of Perfection. It is not automatically added to your inventory when the evaluation happens.

If fewer than four candles are lit, place a Diamond in the Shrine to request another evaluation. Grandpa generally reappears the following day, though timing can vary; once all four candles are lit, interact with the Shrine to collect the statue. (Stardew Valley Wiki: Grandpa)

How many points each candle requires

Lifetime earnings: up to 7 points
Cumulative earnings thresholds award points at 50,000g, 100,000g, 200,000g, 300,000g, and 500,000g—one point at each threshold. Reaching 1,000,000g awards two additional points, for seven total from earnings.
Skills: up to 2 points
Earn one point for at least 30 combined skill levels and another for at least 50 combined levels, equivalent to level 10 in every skill.

These are possible scoring routes, not a checklist you must finish in full. Stardrops are not required to reach the maximum evaluation score in the version 1.05 history recorded by the wiki. Where to get an actual Stardrop
Grandpa’s Shrine is not a Stardrop source. The listed ways to obtain a Stardrop are reaching floor 100 of the Mines, a spouse or roommate milestone, buying one from Krobus, Old Master Cannoli, receiving Willy’s letter after Master Angler, buying one at the Stardew Valley Fair, and donating all 95 Museum items.
