Get your first Odyle from the Odyle Collection quest
The AION 2 Global database lists Odyle Collection as a level 10 episode quest, with level 11 recommended. Its route is recorded for Global version 2.0.5.0 and was last updated October 5, 2026. The database is fan-made, so check the objective in your current client if an update has changed the quest.
- Speak with Kaidros at Dawn Legion Base to start Odyle Collection.
- Meet Nania at Valley Outpost.
- Travel to the Western Odyle Collector in Verteron and collect Odyle.
- Defeat the two Kalgolems listed in the quest objective.
- Return to turn in the quest.

Gather Odyle with Essence Extraction
For repeatable gathering, use Essence Extraction on Odyle nodes. The gathering reference lists nodes in Verteron, Altgard, Chaotic Lower Reshanta, and Expeditions. The node’s grade determines which of four Odyle materials you receive, so check the node grade and resulting material in the current client before spending time on a route. Exact node positions and grade details can change or may depend on the area. Use the in-game map and node information to locate a suitable source rather than relying on a fixed route. A secondary guide updated October 7, 2026 says some Odyle nodes float and recommends flying to them with Wing Energy, but that advice is not confirmed by the item and gathering database entries; verify it applies to your current location and client before following it. Odyle, Odyle (Bound), and Odyle Energy are different terms
Odyle is listed as a level 15 crafting material used in crafting and Substance Morph, and its Global database entry marks it tradable. Odyle (Bound) is a separate item entry marked bound, with quest rewards and an achievement listed as sources. Do not assume the bound version can be traded or substituted in a recipe; confirm the exact item requirement in the client. Odyle Energy appears in other AION 2 references, but the reviewed item records do not establish it as the same item as Odyle. Match the full item name shown in your inventory or recipe rather than treating the terms as interchangeable.
