Can you get Shiny Bruxish in Pokémon GO now?
Not through a currently announced Festival of Colors opportunity. The 2026 event ended on March 8, 2026, and the official announcements reviewed describe past events rather than a future Bruxish appearance. Niantic advises players to check official event updates for information about which Shiny Pokémon may be encountered: What are Shiny Pokémon?
Shiny Bruxish first became available in Pokémon GO during the 2025 Festival of Colors, according to The Pokémon Company International. That debut is a past opportunity, not a standing method to find one today.

What to do if Bruxish returns
- Check the official Pokémon GO event announcement. Confirm the event dates, eligible locations, encounter method, and any time-limited schedule before making plans.
- Follow the method announced for that event. In 2025, Incense increased Bruxish appearances during the event. In 2026, the event listed timed Colorful O’Clock windows. Those are historical examples, not a guarantee of future bonuses or spawns.
- Check Bruxish encounters while the event is active. The announcements describe a chance to encounter a Shiny, not a guaranteed result.
Are there Shiny Bruxish odds or a guaranteed number of checks?
The official event announcements do not publish Bruxish-specific Shiny odds, and they do not promise that any set number of encounters will produce a Shiny. Treat each encounter as a chance; do not rely on an estimated rate or a guaranteed-check count from these announcements.
