To get the Blacktide Sailboat in Fisch, travel to Forsaken Shores and speak with Race Leader Flint near the Shipwright. Complete his boat race; recent guides associate the boat with a finish under 1 minute 15 seconds, but the exact time requirement is not consistently described. Check Flint’s current challenge text before you start.
Where to find Flint
Go to Forsaken Shores and look for Flint, the Race Leader, near the Shipwright. A recent guide places him on the island’s north side; another lists approximate coordinates of -2606.2, 150.4, 1059.2. These are guide-reported location details, so use the Shipwright and race NPC as your landmarks if your game’s map or island layout differs.
How to complete the Forsaken Shores race
- Travel to Forsaken Shores and find Flint near the Shipwright.
- Speak to Flint and start the Forsaken Shores race.
- Follow the course markers and finish the route.
- Read Flint’s live challenge text carefully. If it specifies a timed trial, aim to finish in under 1 minute 15 seconds.
- After completing the challenge, check the in-game boats menu for the Blacktide Sailboat.
Guides associate the race reward with both the Blacktide Sailboat and the Scurvy Speedster title. Standard boats are generally spawned through Shipwrights, but the Blacktide is reported as a race reward rather than a regular purchase.
Does the race require a time under 1:15?
Recent third-party guides do not describe the requirement consistently. One guide lists the Blacktide as a reward for completing the Forsaken Shores track, while current race-guide coverage pairs it with a timed finish under 1:15. No official source identified for this guide confirms whether an ordinary finish alone unlocks the boat. Treat the time as a reported target, not a guaranteed universal requirement, and follow the challenge conditions Flint displays in your current game.
