Roblox now lists the event as over, so those steps are historical—not a confirmed way to claim the accessory today.
How players got the Cactrot during The Hunt: Mega Edition
Cactrot is a virtual Roblox accessory. A March 2025 report on the Roblox Developer Forum describes the past claim route as completing the Video Quest on Discord, watching The Hunt: Mega Edition trailer, and redeeming the resulting code in the event’s in-game hub. A contemporary guide says the quest generated a unique code. Roblox Developer Forum
- Complete The Hunt: Mega Edition Video Quest on Discord.
- Watch The Hunt: Mega Edition trailer as instructed by the quest.
- Get the unique code the quest provides.
- Redeem the code in The Hunt event hub on Roblox.
These are the documented steps from the 2025 event; they do not establish that the quest or redemption flow remains available.
Can you still get the Cactrot?
Roblox’s experience listing says, “The Hunt: Mega Edition is officially over,” and reports that there are currently no running experiences. That is the clearest current indication that the original event route is no longer active. Roblox: The Hunt: Mega Edition

Whether an already-issued Cactrot code can still be redeemed is not confirmed by the available sources. They also do not confirm whether Discord still exposes the old Video Quest. Check Roblox’s current event listing and Discord’s quest interface for any live option, but do not assume an old code will work.
What The Hunt: Mega Edition was
Roblox’s April 8, 2025 retrospective says The Hunt: Mega Edition ran for 11 days and began with quests in 25 games. Roblox also reported that tens of millions of players visited the event hub; those audience figures are Roblox’s own reported numbers, not independent measurements. The event was broader than the Cactrot reward, but its end is why the accessory’s original claim route should be treated as historical. Roblox retrospective, April 8, 2025
