Find Hao Jiu, the Honest Merchant
Game8 reports that Hao Jiu is first found in Blissful Retreat. As the story progresses, he moves to Harvestfall Village. If he is no longer at his earlier location, check Harvestfall Village instead.
Drink until both status effects appear
- Buy wine from Hao Jiu.
- Drink the wine and check your status effects.
- Continue until both “Wasted” and “Alcohol Poisoning” appear; these are the reported unlock conditions for Drunken Poet.

Recover from Alcohol Poisoning

What Drunken Poet does
Game8 classifies Drunken Poet as an offensive, single-target burst Mystic Skill. Casting it puts you in the Intoxicated state for 30 seconds. Breakthrough effects
- Tier 2: Grants 15% Damage Reduction and Tenacity when casting skills.
- Tier 3: Inflicts Drunken Haze and adds an Ignition interaction that consumes the haze to trigger a bonus explosion.
