You can’t unlock the Flame Thrower in Dress to Impress now. It was a limited-time reward for the April Fools 2025 event, which ran from April 1 to April 2, 2025. The event has ended, and the item is no longer available through its puzzle.
How the Flame Thrower was unlocked during the event
While the event was live, players had to use the standard game mode, not Style Showdown. During the intermission lobby, they read five emojis displayed above the leaderboard, then searched game areas for matching emoji clues paired with numbers. Putting the numbers in the same order as the emoji sequence formed a personalized five-digit code.
Players entered that code through the in-game code menu to claim the reward. The code was individualized, so another player’s five-digit code was not a dependable substitute. Historical guides differ on some clue locations, so no single location list should be treated as essential to the method. GameLeap’s April 2, 2025 guide describes the puzzle steps.
Can you still get it?
No. The event’s stated window was April 1–2, 2025, and a current Dress to Impress codes guide lists the Flame Thrower as unavailable. The historical puzzle instructions therefore do not provide a working unlock route today.
