Community guides report two ways to catch a Gleebous fish in Fisch: fish with the Blade of Glorp, or fish at the Roslit Bay UFO crash site. The reported odds are 23% with the Blade and 5% at the crash site, but those rates are not confirmed by an official developer source in the available material and may change with updates.
Two reported ways to catch a Gleebous fish

These are community-wiki figures, not independently verified or officially confirmed rates. A gameplay video recommends using a high-luck rod at the crash site, but does not establish a mutation chance.
How to get the Blade of Glorp
The Blade is reported as a reward for completing Glorp’s quests in Roslit Bay. The community guide describes this progression:
- Talk to Dr. Crookspine to learn about Glorp and the Translator.
- Catch one fish with the Gleebous mutation.
- Return the Device Display, Translator Core, and Communication Circuit to Dr. Crookspine.
- Speak with Glorp to receive the next quest, then catch 15 Gleebous fish. The guide says these fish must be caught by you and cannot be traded for.
- Claim the Blade of Glorp reward. The guide says you must be level 888 or above to interact with Glorp.
A separate community quest page also places Glorp by the Roslit Bay UFO crash site and lists a 15-Gleebous-fish objective for the Blade reward. Quest requirements can change, so check the in-game objectives if they differ from this guide.

Which route should you use?
- Already have the Blade: Use it while fishing; the community guide reports the higher chance, at 23%.
- Do not have the Blade: Fish at the Roslit Bay UFO crash site, where the guide reports a 5% chance, while working toward the quest reward if you want the Blade.
How to recognize Gleebous
The community mutation guide describes Gleebous fish as neon green with green particles and lists an 8× value multiplier. These appearance and value details are community-reported rather than confirmed by an official source in the available material.
