The grace is your destination; opening the separate passage toward Hinterland requires an additional interaction.
Route at a glance
- Reach the Church District, on Shadow Keep’s eastern approach.
- Use the district’s elevator connection into the Storehouse Back Section.
- Continue through the Specimen Storehouse toward the upper levels and the Storehouse, Loft Site of Grace.
- From Storehouse, Loft, take the lift upward and follow the upper route and lifts toward Shadow Keep, Back Gate.
- Activate the Back Gate Site of Grace. It leads toward the Scaduview area.
How to reach Storehouse, Loft
Enter through the Church District
Approach Shadow Keep from the Church District side. Continue through the district to its elevator connection with the Storehouse Back Section, then progress through the Specimen Storehouse toward the Loft. The route is an upward progression through the storehouse, not a ground-level entrance to the Back Gate.

Use Storehouse, Loft as your checkpoint
If you have already activated Storehouse, Loft, fast-travel there and begin the final leg from that grace. From there, take the lift upward and follow the upper storehouse route toward the exit and lifts leading to the Back Gate. The route guides identify these landmarks, but do not establish every ladder, turn, or lift interaction; use the named section and grace transitions to orient yourself rather than relying on an unsupported floor-by-floor sequence.

Reaching and activating Shadow Keep, Back Gate is enough if you only want the grace. A nearby statue or sealed passage is associated with the O Mother gesture; using the gesture opens a separate passage toward Hinterland. You do not need to open that passage merely to reach the Back Gate grace.
