To repeat a YouTube playlist, turn on its Loop or Repeat • Playlist control. YouTube’s documented controls do not provide a setting that guarantees the transition screen between videos will disappear, so looping alone cannot promise transition-free playback.
Loop a playlist on desktop
- Open a video that is part of the playlist.
- Expand the playlist panel beside the video.
- Click the Loop control in the playlist box. The playlist will repeat its sequence.

Loop a playlist on Android
- Start playing the playlist in the YouTube app.
- Tap Loop in the playlist control box beneath the video.
- If you tap Loop again, YouTube changes the setting to repeat only the current video rather than the whole playlist.

Set playlist repeat on a TV or game console
- Select the playlist and start a video.
- Open the playback controls.
- Choose Repeat until the control indicates “Repeat • Playlist.”
The location and appearance of playback controls can vary by device. YouTube documents the Repeat • Playlist label for TV and game-console playback in its playlist-looping guidance.
Loop a playlist in an embedded player
For a website embed, a developer can load a playlist with the YouTube IFrame Player API and enable looping with setLoop(true). The documented behavior returns playback to the first video after the last one. The API reference does not document an option to suppress the transition screen.

Playlist Loop is not Autoplay
Loop repeats the videos in the playlist you selected. Autoplay instead plays another related video after the current one ends. If you want a defined sequence to repeat, use playlist Loop rather than relying on Autoplay. YouTube explains Autoplay in its Autoplay videos Help page.
Can you hide the transition screen?
YouTube’s consulted Help and developer documentation explains playlist repetition and embedded-player looping, but does not document a supported control or parameter that removes the transition screen between videos. The reliable conclusion is limited: you can repeat the playlist, but the documented settings do not guarantee transition-free playback. This does not rule out undocumented or account-specific behavior.

Do not treat Autoplay, a different device, or an embed parameter as a documented fix for the transition screen. The official materials describe no such guarantee.
