How to Loop Jewellery Shop Product Videos on YouTube Live (Hindi Guide)

Loop one jewellery product clip or a playlist in OBS, connect the encoder to YouTube Live, and test the stream before your sale.

To repeat a jewellery product video during a YouTube Live broadcast, loop it in an encoder such as OBS Studio and send that feed to YouTube. YouTube’s ordinary Loop command repeats a video for an individual viewer; it does not turn a recording into a live broadcast. The steps below explain the OBS workflow, with English interface labels and Hindi explanations.

Before you set up the loop

Confirm the channel can livestream

YouTube’s general guidance lists channel verification and no livestreaming restriction in the preceding 90 days as prerequisites. First-time livestream activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before a sale or scheduled event. Check the channel’s current status in YouTube Studio.

Prepare footage you have rights to use

Have the product video saved locally on the computer running OBS. OBS Media Source supports formats including MP4, TS, MOV, FLV, MKV, AVI, GIF and WebM. Use footage and audio that the shop owns or is authorized to stream; YouTube’s product-tag guidance says creators must own or control the necessary rights for livestream content.

Choose one clip or a rotating reel

  • One clip: Media Source is the simpler setup and repeats the same footage.
  • Several clips: A VLC Video source can play an ordered playlist. This is useful when rotating views of different products, but requires VLC and a little more setup.

These options do not establish a particular transition effect at clip boundaries. Preview the joins and audio before the event. If footage or stock changes, update the relevant file or playlist and test the revised sequence.

Loop a single product video in OBS

  1. Create a scene: In OBS Studio, select or create a scene for the shop broadcast.
  2. Add the file: In the Sources panel, select + → Media Source (मीडिया सोर्स), name it, and choose the local video file.
  3. Enable repetition: In the Media Source properties, turn on Loop (दोहराएँ). OBS documents this as replaying the file after playback completes; the default is Off, so verify the setting.
  4. Check the composition: Confirm the product is framed clearly in the preview and that the source is visible. Play through the end of the clip to check how it returns to the beginning.
  5. Check audio: Listen to the full clip, including its end and restart. Mute or remove any audio you do not have rights to use.

Loop a playlist of product clips

  1. Install VLC: OBS requires VLC for its VLC Video source. Match the installation architecture: 64-bit OBS requires 64-bit VLC.
  2. Add a VLC Video source: In the OBS Sources panel, choose + → VLC Video.
  3. Build the sequence: Add the video files to its playlist in the order you want viewers to see them. Review the sequence for outdated prices, unavailable stock or mismatched product details.
  4. Enable playlist repetition: Turn on Loop Playlist in the source properties and confirm it remains enabled.
  5. Preview the sequence: Check representative clips and the transition between them. Listen for unexpected gaps, volume changes or audio that should not be broadcast.

Connect OBS to YouTube Live

  1. Open YouTube Studio: Go to Live Control Room and create a stream or select the stream you intend to use. YouTube describes an encoder as software that converts video into a digital format for streaming.
  2. Copy the connection details: Copy the stream URL and stream key shown for that stream. In OBS, open Settings → Stream, choose the appropriate YouTube connection method, and enter or authorize the connection as prompted. If using a custom server connection, enter the URL and key in their respective fields.
  3. Protect the key: Treat the stream key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send content to the associated stream. Do not show it on screen or share it publicly.
  4. Start the encoder: In OBS, select Start Streaming. Wait for the incoming feed and preview to appear in Live Control Room.
  5. Start the YouTube broadcast: Check the preview and stream status, then start the broadcast in Live Control Room. Starting OBS sends the feed; it is not a substitute for confirming the broadcast in YouTube’s control room.

Test picture, sound and connection before the sale

Run a test stream before the event using the same scene, playlist, audio and connection you plan to use. YouTube recommends selecting a quality that the available upload connection can sustain, testing with representative movement and audio, checking the preview, and monitoring stream health and audiovisual quality during the broadcast. Avoid choosing a resolution or bitrate based on guesswork: the suitable setting depends on the source and reliable upload capacity. Consult YouTube’s current stream-quality guidance for its recommendations.

  • Check that the product details are legible at the intended viewing size.
  • Listen for clipping, excessive background noise, silence or abrupt level changes.
  • Verify the OBS loop or playlist remains active after a complete cycle.
  • Watch Live Control Room for warnings or a degraded stream-health indication.
  • Keep a way to stop the broadcast promptly if the wrong footage or audio appears.

End the broadcast deliberately

When the sale is over, end the stream in Live Control Room, then stop sending content from OBS. YouTube’s encoder guidance says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. If planning an unusually long continuous broadcast, verify current archive behavior in YouTube Help rather than assuming the same rule applies.

Product tags and live demonstrations

Eligible creators may be able to tag products in livestreams through YouTube Shopping, but eligibility, product delivery regions and video compliance affect whether viewers see those tags. Treat tagging as optional, not a guaranteed shop feature. A webcam is also optional: it is not needed to loop existing prerecorded footage, though a camera can be added if you want to show live close-ups or demonstrations.

Common problems and fixes

  • The video plays once and stops: Reopen Media Source properties and check Loop; its documented default is Off. For a multi-clip source, check Loop Playlist.
  • VLC Video is missing from OBS: Install VLC, then confirm its architecture matches OBS. OBS documents that 64-bit OBS needs 64-bit VLC.
  • YouTube does not receive a feed: Check that OBS is streaming, the correct stream URL and key are configured, and the selected YouTube stream is the one open in Live Control Room. Recopy the key if needed and keep it private.
  • The preview looks unstable or YouTube reports poor health: Test at a quality your upload connection can sustain, then adjust using YouTube’s current recommendations. Recheck the preview and stream health before starting the sale.
  • Livestreaming cannot be enabled: Confirm the channel is verified and check for a livestreaming restriction within the preceding 90 days. If this is the first activation, allow up to 24 hours.
  • The video or music raises a rights concern: Replace it with footage and audio the shop has the necessary rights to stream. Do not assume that having a product video file grants permission to broadcast everything in it.

Or let it run in the cloud

If the goal is to keep prerecorded product footage live continuously without leaving a computer running at the shop, StreamNeo is a cloud option for YouTube. Upload the recording or build a playlist, add the YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home or at the shop; it streams the upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. Start the free first day with StreamNeo.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use YouTube’s Loop button to make my shop video live?

No. YouTube’s Loop command repeats playback for a viewer. A live broadcast needs a source sent through an encoder or another YouTube live route.

Do I need a webcam to loop prerecorded jewellery footage?

No. OBS and the video file are sufficient for the prerecorded-loop workflow. A camera is only relevant if you also want live product demonstrations.
