To run recorded 10th standard classes as a continuous YouTube Live broadcast, send the lessons through an encoder that plays them in a loop and streams the feed to YouTube. You can run the encoder on a computer that stays on, or use StreamNeo to play uploaded lessons from the cloud. First confirm your channel can livestream and that you have permission to broadcast every part of the recordings.
Before you set up the stream
Check live-streaming eligibility
YouTube requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its current guidance also says streamers must be at least 16. Check that live streaming is enabled for your channel before building the schedule. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility and rules.
Make sure you have the rights
Use class recordings, music, images, slides, and other material you are entitled to broadcast. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match can cause YouTube to replace the feed with a placeholder, interrupt it, or end the stream. Even if you have a licence, the rights holder may need to allowlist your channel through Content ID for the live broadcast to proceed. Review YouTube’s copyright rules for live streams.
For lessons, check not only the teacher’s recording but also any background music, film clips, textbook scans, or third-party slides. Permission to use something in a classroom or a private recording does not necessarily include permission to rebroadcast it publicly on YouTube.

Choose where the lessons will play
The encoder takes video playback and sends it to YouTube as a live feed. Uploading a lesson as a normal video does not make it a continuous livestream. Decide whether playback and encoding will run on a local computer or in a cloud service:

You do not automatically need a new or high-end PC for the local route. YouTube says expensive equipment is not required to get started; whether your existing computer is suitable depends on whether it can play the files and encode continuously without overheating or dropping frames.

Set up a local 24/7 stream
- Prepare the lesson files. Put the recordings in a playback playlist or source supported by your encoder. Arrange them in the order students should see them, and check the video and audio of each file. Keep separate copies of the originals; the livestream is not a dependable archive of the lessons.
- Create an encoder stream in YouTube Studio. Open YouTube Studio, go to Live Control Room, and create or schedule an encoder stream. Choose Public, Unlisted, or Private visibility to suit your teaching use. YouTube’s encoder setup guide explains the connection workflow.
- Copy the stream URL and key into your encoder. Use YouTube’s stream URL and the private stream key in the encoder’s streaming destination settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with students. If it is exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio. See YouTube’s stream-key and live-stream settings guidance.
- Configure the playback loop. Add the lessons to the encoder’s playback source or playlist and enable repeat or loop using that software’s current controls. Menu names differ among encoders and software versions, so do not assume a playlist option in one program is universal.
- Set the encoder output. YouTube recommends RTMPS, H.264 video, constant bitrate (CBR), and a two-second keyframe interval; it says the keyframe interval should not exceed four seconds. Choose a resolution and bitrate your upload connection can sustain, then check YouTube’s encoder settings, bitrate, and resolution guidance for the relevant output. RTMPS encrypts data sent to YouTube.
- Test before leaving it unattended. Start with an unlisted test if appropriate. Watch the stream in YouTube and check picture, audio, stream health, and whether the loop moves from the end of one lesson to the next. Keep the test running through a playlist boundary; also test what happens after an application restart and a temporary network interruption. YouTube’s livestreaming tips recommend testing and monitoring.
- Keep the computer and connection available. For the local method, disable settings that would put the computer to sleep, ensure it has adequate cooling and power, and keep the encoder and network connection running. A successful initial connection does not prove the setup will recover unattended.
Protect access and plan for interruptions
- Keep the key private. Anyone with the stream key may be able to send a feed to your stream. Reset it if it is shared or exposed.
- Watch stream health. A dropped connection, computer restart, encoder crash, or exhausted power supply can interrupt a local broadcast. Check YouTube’s live status and the encoder rather than assuming playback is still running.
- Test restart behavior. Confirm whether your chosen software resumes playback and reconnects after a network outage or restart. YouTube’s encoder documentation explains connecting the feed, but it does not establish a universal playlist-loop or automatic-restart setting for every encoder.
- Keep lesson files separately. YouTube automatically archives streams under 12 hours. Streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all, and DVR rewind on very long streams may be limited or unavailable. For dependable replay, retain the originals and publish separate on-demand lessons or use shorter live sessions. See YouTube’s stream archiving guidance and DVR guidance.
