To run devotional videos as a 24/7 YouTube livestream, enable live streaming on an eligible channel, send an authorized video feed through an encoder, and monitor it in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room. Add Hindi and English as separate title-and-description translations in YouTube Studio rather than relying only on a bilingual title. An encoder setup can support a continuous broadcast, but YouTube’s setup guidance does not guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
Before you start: check channel eligibility and content rights
Enable live streaming in advance
Your YouTube channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream enablement can take up to 24 hours, so complete this step before your planned launch. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.
Use devotional content you are authorized to broadcast
Prepare audio, video, and visuals for which you have the necessary rights. A devotional song being publicly available, traditional, or credited to its creator does not by itself give you permission to rebroadcast a particular recording or arrangement. YouTube’s livestream terms put responsibility on the provider to have the necessary rights, including music licensing rights.
YouTube scans live broadcasts for third-party content. If it detects material, it may replace the stream with a placeholder and issue a warning; continued use can lead to interruption or termination. Even licensed content can be interrupted if the rights holder has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. Resolve rights and allowlisting questions with the relevant rights holder before going live. See YouTube’s live-streaming copyright guidance.

Set up the continuous video feed
Choose an encoder and plan how it will run
YouTube supports software and hardware encoder workflows, and its guidance also includes cloud encoding options. For a basic setup, you can use an existing computer with encoder software. A dedicated computer is an optional operational choice, not a YouTube requirement; the official setup guidance does not prescribe a particular computer model or minimum hardware specification.
For a 24/7 operation, consider who or what will keep the encoder and source feed running, how you will detect a failure, and how you will restore the broadcast. The cited YouTube setup instructions do not prescribe a particular playlist-looping method, automatic restart configuration, backup connection, or uninterrupted-service architecture. Treat continuity as something to test and monitor, not as an outcome guaranteed by the setup steps.
Create a stream in YouTube Studio and connect the encoder

Open YouTube Studio and go to the Live Control Room. Create a stream or schedule one, then review its title, description, visibility, and other stream details.

Copy the stream’s server URL and stream key from YouTube Studio into the matching fields in your encoder. Keep the stream key private: anyone with access to it may be able to send a feed to your stream. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.

Start the encoder and wait for the preview to appear in Live Control Room. Check that the picture and sound are correct before broadcasting to viewers.

If you scheduled the stream, use the Live Control Room’s Go live action after the preview arrives. Confirm that the public watch page is live and playing as expected.
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. Do not assume one uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be archived as a single video; plan separately for recording and archive needs. See YouTube’s encoder streaming guide.
Add Hindi and English titles and descriptions
Set the default metadata, then publish translations

In YouTube Studio, open the stream or video’s details and make the default title and description useful to viewers who see that version. If prompted, set the original language.

Open the language or subtitles/languages controls for the video. Add Hindi or English as a language, then use the Title and description area to enter the translated title and description.

Publish the translation, then repeat for the other language. Review spelling, devotional terminology, names, and diacritics in each language before publishing.

Translated metadata is different from putting both languages into one title. YouTube says localized titles and descriptions may appear in search and can be shown to viewers in the appropriate language. Follow YouTube’s instructions for adding translated video titles and descriptions.
Test the setup and monitor the broadcast
Check bandwidth, preview, and playback

Check your available outbound upload capacity against the encoder’s stream bitrate. YouTube recommends roughly 20% headroom above the bitrate; that is a recommendation, not an uptime guarantee. See YouTube’s streaming tips.

Inspect the Live Control Room preview before going live. Confirm that audio is audible and balanced, the picture is correct, and the stream-health indicators do not show a problem.

Open the watch page on a separate device, including a phone, and confirm that playback works there. Check the title and description as viewers will see them.

Test with representative devotional audio and video motion, not only a static screen. If you are recording locally as a backup, verify that the recording file is actually growing and has usable audio and video.

Keep checking after launch
Monitor audio, video, and stream health during operation. A successful preview and initial launch show that the configuration is working at that moment; they do not certify that the stream will stay uninterrupted. YouTube’s guidance covers practical checks, not a complete unattended-broadcast architecture.

Live streaming is unavailable: check channel verification and whether the channel has a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. If this is the first enablement, allow up to 24 hours.

The encoder does not connect: confirm that the server URL and stream key were copied into the correct encoder fields, and that the key belongs to the intended stream. If the key may have been exposed, reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.

The preview is unstable or stream health reports trouble: compare upload capacity with the stream bitrate and work toward YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom. Check the connection and encoder output, then wait for a stable preview before using Go live.

The stream is live but viewers cannot hear or see it properly: check the encoder’s selected audio and video sources, inspect the preview, and verify playback on the watch page and a phone.

YouTube warns about third-party content or interrupts the stream: stop using the disputed material until you have confirmed the necessary rights. For licensed material, ask the relevant owner whether your channel needs Content ID allowlisting.

You cannot find a single 24-hour archive: YouTube’s stated automatic-archive guidance applies to streams shorter than 12 hours. Do not rely on an uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast producing one archived video.
