YouTube Studio alone does not loop uploaded videos continuously. Set up and test the channel and feed before launch, keep the stream key private, and confirm that you have rights to the classes and every included music track.
Choose how to keep the stream running
| Workflow | Who maintains the feed | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Local computer and encoder | You maintain the computer, encoder software and internet connection. | Power, network stability, encoder configuration and monitoring during the broadcast. |
| Cloud playout service | The provider runs the feed in the cloud; account setup and service terms still matter. | Looping, monitoring and recovery, file handling, stream-key security, privacy, support, availability in India and price. |
YouTube’s encoder directory lists Gyre as an example of a cloud-based service for 24/7 prerecorded streaming. That listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of uptime, availability in India or particular partner terms. Compare providers on the points above rather than assuming the service will recover from every interruption.
For a self-managed stream, use a computer and encoder you can leave running, with reliable power and internet. YouTube’s guidance does not specify a particular computer model or guarantee uninterrupted 24/7 operation.
Prepare your channel and class recordings
Enable live streaming early
YouTube’s computer livestream guidance requires a verified channel with no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. First-time live-stream enablement may take up to 24 hours, so enable it well before your planned start. See YouTube’s live-streaming setup guidance.

- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Check the material you plan to loop
Make a playlist or sequence of classes that can play continuously. Review the finished files for clear instruction, consistent audio and video, and transitions that will not confuse viewers when the loop returns to the beginning. A prerecorded broadcast is still a live stream to viewers, but it is not the same as publishing each class as a separate on-demand video.
Create the YouTube encoder stream
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. Create or configure an encoder stream there.
- Copy the stream URL and stream key shown in Live Control Room, then enter them in your encoder software or provide them to your cloud playout service. YouTube describes the stream key as the stream’s password and address: do not publish it or share it with anyone who does not need it.
- Configure the encoder or service to send the prerecorded classes as a continuing feed. For a local workflow, start the playlist in the encoder and keep the computer, encoder and connection running. For cloud playout, follow the provider’s instructions for uploading or selecting files and starting the feed.
- Set the stream’s title, description, privacy and available controls, including DVR, in Live Control Room. Preview the incoming video and audio before making the broadcast public. YouTube’s encoder setup instructions explain the stream URL and key workflow; its stream settings guidance covers stream options.
Set bitrate and test the feed
YouTube’s network guidance says the total bitrate must not exceed your available upload capacity and recommends leaving 20% headroom. For example, if the encoder sends a total bitrate of 10 Mbps, aim for at least 12.5 Mbps of available upload capacity (10 Mbps is 80% of 12.5 Mbps). This is a capacity calculation, not a guarantee that a connection will remain stable.

Choose resolution, frame rate, bitrate and other encoder settings based on the source recordings and YouTube’s current guidance for the selected format. Do not upscale a recording just to select a higher output resolution. Check YouTube’s encoder settings guidance for current recommendations; the exact settings depend on the source and stream configuration.
- Before launch, send a test feed using representative classes, including the quietest spoken instruction and any music.
- Check the preview in Live Control Room for picture, sound, sync and playback continuity.
- Watch stream health while the test runs, and confirm that the connection has enough upload capacity with YouTube’s recommended 20% headroom.
- During the live run, keep monitoring audio and video. YouTube recommends continuous monitoring and advance setup in its livestreaming tips.
Clear rights for classes, performances and music
Before streaming, confirm that your permissions cover the actual uses: live communication to viewers, the platform, and any archive or replay. Check instructor and performer agreements, the rights in the music composition and sound recording, and permission for any third-party visuals. Owning a video file does not by itself establish rights to all material embedded in it.

YouTube’s livestream terms say the provider must have the necessary rights to exploit live content on Google services worldwide, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants. See the YouTube Terms of Service. India’s Copyright Act addresses communication to the public and performers’ rights; the specific permissions needed depend on the material and agreements. Review those agreements for your use case rather than treating this as case-specific legal advice: India Copyright Act text.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may trigger a warning and placeholder; if the matched content continues, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. YouTube also says a stream can be interrupted even when you have a licence if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel. See YouTube’s guidance on live-stream copyright. If you use licensed music, check whether the relevant rights owner has allowlisted the channel before relying on that licence for a live broadcast.

Plan for interruptions, DVR and archives
A long live broadcast is not a dependable substitute for a library of individual class videos. YouTube’s encoder help says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its DVR guidance warns that DVR may be limited or unavailable for streams longer than 12 hours. For a continuous 24/7 stream, do not promise viewers a full rewind or assume the complete broadcast will remain available as an archive. Publish discrete class recordings separately when viewers need reliable on-demand access. See YouTube’s DVR guidance and its encoder help.
Troubleshoot common problems
- Live Control Room does not offer live streaming: verify the channel and check for live-streaming restrictions from the previous 90 days. If this is the first enablement, allow up to 24 hours.
- The encoder will not connect: confirm that you copied the stream URL and current stream key correctly and entered them in the encoder’s streaming settings. Treat the key as a password; if it may have been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- The stream health is poor or the feed drops: compare the total bitrate with actual upload capacity and leave the recommended 20% headroom. Check the local network, power and encoder for a local setup; for cloud playout, check the provider’s status and recovery terms.
- Viewers report missing audio or picture: inspect the Live Control Room preview and encoder output. Re-test with representative movement and quiet instruction, not just a static or loud segment.
- YouTube warns about copyrighted content or interrupts the stream: identify the matched material, verify that the required rights cover live streaming, and check allowlisting with the rights owner if you have a licence.
- Viewers cannot rewind or find the full stream afterward: DVR and archive availability are limited for long runs, especially beyond 12 hours. Publish individual class recordings for dependable replay instead of relying on the continuous broadcast archive.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload the classes, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. The cloud continues the loop without a computer or home connection staying on. Each slot includes 10 GB of storage, pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and StreamNeo team support. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. UPI and cards are available in India.
