You can use Gyre to loop prerecorded videos as a continuous YouTube livestream: upload your files, arrange a playlist, connect your YouTube channel, then launch or schedule the stream. The part that needs the most care is the soundtrack. “Royalty-free” does not automatically mean a track is cleared for live broadcasts, every territory, monetization, or archived replays—and YouTube may interrupt a stream when its systems detect third-party content.
Before you start: check YouTube livestream eligibility
YouTube’s current requirements say a channel must be verified and must not have had a livestreaming restriction in the previous 90 days. Livestream creators must be at least 16. Check the current YouTube Help guide to getting started with live streaming for the latest eligibility details before building the broadcast.
Prepare the prerecorded playlist
Gyre’s documented workflow is to upload prerecorded video files to its service and arrange them into a playlist. Gyre says the playlist repeats after it reaches the end, and describes its service as cloud-hosted, so your own computer does not need to remain on to run the stream. These are Gyre’s product descriptions, not a guarantee that a broadcast cannot be interrupted.
For a music stream, make the playlist coherent and check each video’s audio and visual content before uploading. Gyre recommends keeping playlist material on one topic; that is the vendor’s recommendation, not a YouTube eligibility rule. Keep a record of each track’s title, creator, source, license, and any attribution wording you must display.

Connect Gyre to YouTube and launch the stream
- Upload the video files to Gyre. Use the service’s current upload workflow and wait for the files to finish processing before arranging them.
- Build the playlist. Put the prerecorded videos in the order you want them to repeat. Check the sequence and soundtrack rights for every item, not just the first one.
- Connect your YouTube channel. Follow Gyre’s current connection flow and grant the requested access. Interface labels may change, so use the current instructions in Gyre rather than relying on old button names.
- Configure and launch or schedule the stream. Select the playlist and set the start time in Gyre’s current stream controls. YouTube’s encoder setup and livestream guidance lists Gyre as a cloud-based option for continuous streams of prerecorded video and explains YouTube’s preview and monitoring process.
- Check the live broadcast. Use YouTube’s preview and monitoring guidance to confirm that the player is receiving the stream and that the picture and sound are as expected. Recheck the broadcast after changes to the playlist or soundtrack.
Clear every track for livestream use
YouTube’s Livestream Terms and Conditions place responsibility on the livestream provider to have the necessary rights for live content, including music rights from artists, record labels, publishers, and other rights holders. Read the YouTube Livestream Terms and Conditions alongside the license for each track.

- Live streaming on YouTube, rather than only use in edited videos or on-demand uploads.
- The territories where you expect the stream to be available.
- Commercial use or monetization, if applicable.
- Any required attribution, credit format, or restrictions on editing and looping.
- Archived livestream replays, if you plan to keep the recording available.
- Content ID handling, including whether the rights holder can add your channel to an allowlist.
Keep the license text, purchase receipt or permission email, track details, and any allowlist confirmation. A “free” or “royalty-free” label alone does not establish these rights; license terms vary between tracks and catalogs.
Where to look for music
YouTube recommends its Audio Library as a source of royalty-free music and sound effects. Follow the individual track’s license and attribution requirements rather than assuming every item has identical terms.

Do not treat Creator Music as a shortcut for a live playlist: YouTube’s cited Creator Music usage guidance says its tracks are for long-form videos, not livestreams or Shorts. For any third-party library, check the specific track license and ask the provider about live use if the wording is unclear.
Understand Content ID interruption risk
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may replace the live player with a placeholder, interrupt the broadcast, or terminate it. That can happen even when you believe you have a license: YouTube says a creator who has licensed third-party content should ask the owner to add the channel to the owner’s Content ID allowlist. For a stream intended to stay live continuously, obtain any required allowlist confirmation before launch. If a match is detected, do not assume that repeating the same track or restarting the stream will solve the rights issue; identify the matched content and resolve the license or allowlisting problem with the rights holder.

“24/7” describes the intended schedule, not guaranteed uninterrupted uptime. YouTube enforcement, a rights dispute, or a service or network problem can stop a broadcast. Check YouTube’s stream preview and status, and revisit the playlist and licenses whenever you add or replace content.
