The 3D-printed project is a precedent for an illuminated display, not evidence that its construction transfers to a wearable headpiece.

2. Confirm a method and its actual materials
Before starting, consult the full instructions for the method you selected and make a materials list from those instructions. Do not assume that one project’s components or attachment method suit the other.
3. Shape the recognizable silhouette

4. Assemble and finish for its intended use
Follow the chosen method for joining and finishing the parts. For a wearable prop, determine how it will be supported without relying on an unverified mounting method. For a display, consider how it will stand or attach to its intended surface. No sourced build establishes a tested weight, durability or attachment design.
5. Add lighting only if the design supports it
LED tape light appears in the 3D-printed maker project, but the source does not identify a model, voltage, power supply or wiring instructions. Select components only after you have a compatible, complete plan for the display. Do not transfer the display project’s lighting assumptions to a wearable prop.
Consider an official Plumbob alternative

Electronic Arts announced a limited-edition Plumbob jewelry collection on February 28, 2024, inspired by The Sims 4 Crystal Creations Stuff Pack. The named pieces were a Plumbob Statement Ring, Plumbob Layered Necklace and Plumbob Drop Earrings. That announcement documents the launch, not current availability. What a homemade Plumbob guide can—and cannot—promise
