You can still create a Roblox pass in Creator Hub, but making one no longer enables the classic PLS DONATE booth sale: Roblox disabled cross-game pass sales starting May 30, 2026. The PLS DONATE listing still describes the older pass-and-booth method, and it does not confirm that the experience supports Roblox’s replacement Transfers API. So a pass is useful for selling an in-experience privilege in your own experience, but creating one alone is not a reliable way to receive donations through PLS DONATE now.
How to create a Roblox pass
A pass is a digital item associated with an experience. Roblox says passes are free to create and are intended for one-time Robux purchases that grant privileges inside that experience. Your experience must be published and accessible before you create a pass.
- Open Roblox Creator Hub, go to Creations, and select your published experience.
- Open Monetization > Passes, then select Create pass.
- Upload an icon. Roblox’s stated maximum is 512 × 512 pixels; accepted formats are JPG, PNG, and BMP. Keep important details away from the edges because the icon is displayed with a circular crop.
- Enter a name and description, then create the pass. Use the current Creator Hub controls and official instructions to configure its sale status and price, as interface details can change.
Why the old PLS DONATE booth method no longer applies
The PLS DONATE listing still tells players to create a gamepass, claim a booth, and receive Robux. It also says donations happen through gamepass sales and can take up to a week to process. That is legacy guidance: Roblox’s pass documentation says cross-game pass sales have been disabled starting May 30, 2026. A pass attached to your experience is a cross-game sale when another experience tries to sell it.
As a result, creating a pass does not guarantee that it will appear as a purchasable booth item in PLS DONATE. The game listing reviewed does not establish that this specific experience has implemented the replacement donation method.

What Roblox’s replacement transfer route requires
Roblox says its Transfers API provides a direct route for in-game Robux transfers such as tips and donations. Roblox Support describes sending Robux through transfers as a Roblox Plus subscriber benefit: the sender needs Roblox Plus, but the recipient does not. Users under 18 need parent or caregiver approval for transfers. These are platform requirements; they do not confirm that PLS DONATE supports transfers.
To receive a donation through this route, the game itself needs to support Roblox transfers. The available PLS DONATE listing does not confirm that it does, so check the current in-game experience for an official, supported donation option rather than assuming an old pass will work.

Pass sales, displayed prices, and Robux you receive
Even when a pass is sold in a supported context, its displayed price is not necessarily the amount you receive. The PLS DONATE listing warns that Roblox taxes can reduce the amount received; Roblox Support says pass-sale proceeds are initially pending and sales are subject to transaction fees. The listing’s “up to a week” processing statement is its own guidance, not a platform-wide timing guarantee. Check your current pending transactions for the applicable status and release timing.
