On a computer, right-click the player and choose Loop; on Android, open Settings → Additional settings → Loop video. TV and console players have a Repeat control. The replay must exist first: YouTube does not guarantee that every completed livestream will be archived.
Loop one completed livestream replay
YouTube treats an available livestream replay as a video for playback. Its Help instructions say that choosing Loop makes the video repeat continuously. The control differs by device:
Computer
- Open the replay’s watch page.
- Right-click inside the video player.
- Select Loop from the menu.
The video will restart automatically when it reaches the end. If the player menu or label differs, check the current playback controls; YouTube’s interface may change. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists.
Android
- Open the replay in the YouTube app.
- Tap Settings in the player.
- Tap Additional settings, then Loop video.
YouTube Help’s Android instructions also describe looping a playlist. In the playlist control box, tap its loop control; selecting it again can repeat only the current playlist video, indicated by “1.”

TV or gaming console
- Start playing the replay.
- Press down on the TV remote or game controller to reveal the playback controls.
- Choose Repeat until the control indicates that the current video is repeating.
If you are watching a playlist instead, use Repeat until it indicates that the playlist is repeating. Labels and navigation can vary with the TV, console, and YouTube app version. YouTube Help.
Loop several gaming VODs in a playlist
Put the replays you want to watch in a YouTube playlist, then use the playlist’s loop control rather than the individual video loop. The sequence repeats after its last video. On a computer, open a video in the playlist, expand the playlist box, and select its Loop control. On Android, use the loop control in the playlist control box; on TV or console, choose Repeat until the player shows playlist repeat. YouTube’s device instructions cover these playback controls.

First make sure the livestream replay exists
When a livestream ends, the channel may make a replay or highlights available as videos. Look for the finished stream on the channel’s Videos or Live area. If it is missing, the creator may not have saved or published an archive; looping controls cannot bring back a video that is unavailable. YouTube Help: Watch live streams.
For creators, YouTube says it can automatically archive a livestream shorter than 12 hours, but that is not a guarantee. YouTube warns that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all and recommends keeping a local recording as a backup. Archive visibility and deletion can be managed in YouTube Studio under Content → Live. See YouTube Help: Archive live streams.

Replay looping is different from live DVR
DVR lets viewers pause or rewind while a broadcast is still live. It is not a way to repeat the completed stream’s archive. DVR may be limited or unavailable on very long live streams, and viewers cannot seek to a point before the broadcast began. Once a replay video is available, use its video or playlist loop control instead. YouTube Help: Use DVR on live streams.
Creators may also encounter Live Redirect, which sends viewers to a Premiere or another livestream when a stream ends. That is an audience handoff, not a setting that repeats the ended stream’s archive. See YouTube Help: Manage live stream settings.
