Make glitch hop by building a half-time breakbeat around a syncopated, distorted bass riff, then adding short stutters, edits, and fills that leave space for the groove. What Gives Glitch Hop Its Sound
Glitch hop pairs a lurching, often half-time drum feel with a bass part that answers or interrupts the beat. For a first draft, try 110 BPM as a working tempo, not a genre rule. Make A Glitch Hop Draft Step By Step
- Write a short brief. Decide whether the piece is a loop for gameplay, a stream bed, or a complete track. For background use, specify instrumental, restrained variation, and a clear ending or loop point. Keep the core brief focused on half-time drums, syncopated bass, and glitch edits.
