You receive one reward from the rewards listed for that specific pattern; the required encounter and any compatible Shape Stabilizer depend on the item.
1. Find the activity linked to your pattern
Open your inventory and inspect the exact Amorphous Material you want to use. Check its linked-device information to find the encounter or destination associated with that pattern. Patterns do not all use the same boss or mission, so do not choose an activity based on another pattern’s route.
Nexon’s Crossplay Open Beta guide describes patterns linked to Colossi in Void Intercept Battles. Some patterns may be tied to other activities, and the guide predates the current game. Use the destination shown for your item in the current game.
2. Complete the linked encounter
Finish the activity shown in the pattern’s linked information. For the Void Intercept route described in Nexon’s guide, a player carrying the matching Amorphous Material can use it after defeating its linked Colossus. Completing a different encounter will not open that pattern.

3. Select the pattern at the Reconstructed Device
After the linked activity, interact with the Reconstructed Device and choose the matching Amorphous Material. PC Gamer’s July 8, 2024 guide describes an orb at the boss’s defeat location that opens the selection interaction. Follow the current on-screen prompt for the device’s location and controls; exact details may differ from that older guide.
4. Claim one of the listed rewards
The reward pool belongs to the pattern you selected. The game presents that pattern’s listed rewards when you use the device; you receive one of those rewards, not every item in the pool. Check the current in-game list for the exact pattern rather than assuming it contains a particular Descendant part or blueprint. Nexon’s beta-era guide describes Amorphous Materials as a way to obtain items such as Descendant production materials, Crystallization Catalyst blueprints, and Energy Activator blueprints, but that description should not be treated as a current reward list for every pattern.
Shape Stabilizers are pattern-specific
Do not assume any Shape Stabilizer works with any pattern. Nexon’s Update 1.3.34 notes give specific examples of compatibility: Albion Cavalry Gun patterns with Shape Stabilizer Form 1 and Malevolent with Form 2. Check the current information for your exact pattern and stabilizer form before using one.

Nexon labels its detailed usage guide as a Crossplay Open Beta guide and notes that parts could change by official launch. Later updates have also altered content: Update 1.3.34 records the removal of Void Intercept Battle: Abyss and changes to Shape Stabilizer compatibility for named patterns. The item’s current linked information and the game’s on-screen prompts are the practical references for your route.
