That makes it easy to find the originals and loop the playlist while playback continues; YouTube does not promise that playback will run uninterrupted indefinitely.
Organize the bhajan files before uploading
Start with the files on your computer or other storage. A folder structure helps you find and identify the originals; it is separate from the order of videos in a YouTube playlist. The U.S. National Archives recommends consistent directory structures that make sense both to the person who created them and to someone unfamiliar with the collection.
Use folders and filenames that explain what is inside
For a modest collection, organize by a few useful details such as singer, bhajan title, language, event, or recording date. For example, you could make a folder for an event and give each file a name that includes the singer and song title. This is a practical example, not an official YouTube taxonomy. Keep the original files unchanged if preserving them matters; add descriptive filenames or maintain a simple index instead.
A large collection may benefit from a cataloguing or media asset-management system, which can help with retrieval and cataloguing at scale. It is not necessary for an ordinary playlist.

Keep another copy of important videos
Do not rely on a YouTube upload as the only copy of a source file. The Library of Congress recommends keeping another copy of selected personal videos on separate media, such as a portable hard drive, thumb drive, optical disc, or internet storage. Choose an option that suits your collection; an external hard drive is one possible backup, not a YouTube requirement.
Create a YouTube playlist and set its visibility
Create it in YouTube Studio
- Open YouTube Studio and select Create, then New playlist.
- Enter a title and description, choose a visibility setting and arrangement, add videos, then create the playlist. YouTube documents a limit of 150 characters for the playlist title and 5,000 characters for its description. The interface may change; see YouTube Studio playlist management for the documented flow.
Choose who can see it
Pick visibility according to how you intend to share the playlist. Public is suited to broad discovery, private is viewable only by the owner, and unlisted is intended for sharing by link. You can change visibility later. YouTube’s help pages describe playlist visibility and creation in Create and manage playlists; check the live interface for current wording.

Add videos and set the listening order
Add the bhajan videos you want in the playlist, then manage the playlist in Studio or on YouTube. Drag and drop entries to put them in your preferred sequence. One possible devotional-session order is an opening bhajan, familiar favorites, quieter songs, then closing bhajans. That is an editorial choice, not a YouTube rule.
YouTube describes a playlist as a collection of videos. For most bhajan collections, a normal playlist is the right choice. A series playlist is intended for videos watched together, requires a verified account, and can include only videos you uploaded and have rights to use. Each video can be in only one series playlist.

Loop the playlist on your device
Start a video from the playlist, then use the repeat control for the device you are watching on. YouTube documents repeat playback on computer, mobile, TV, and gaming console interfaces in its guide to looping videos or playlists.
Computer
- Open a video in the playlist.
- Expand the playlist box.
- Click Loop.
TV or gaming console
- Select the playlist and start playback.
- Open the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until playlist repeat is indicated.
Mobile
Use the playlist playback controls to enable repeat. The exact controls can vary as YouTube updates its app; consult the current app interface and YouTube’s looping guide if the repeat option is not where you expect.

Loop means the playlist repeats while playback continues. It is not a guarantee of uninterrupted playback indefinitely: playback still depends on the account, device, connection, power, and platform behavior.

Upload only content for which you have the rights or necessary licenses. A devotional or traditional song is not automatically free to upload: a particular recording, performance, arrangement, or video may have separate rights. YouTube’s upload guidance explains creators’ responsibility for content they upload. Copyright checks can flag issues, but they are not a final determination; later claims or strikes can still arise.
