These are the minimums published on Steam, not independently tested performance guidance. The cited listing does not establish recommended requirements. In particular, make sure your computer meets the stated 16 GB RAM and 35 GB storage figures before purchasing or downloading.
What the remaster advertises
Steam describes the release as a remaster of the 1997 game, with enhanced HD graphics, an updated camera, modern control mechanics and retro video modes. Its listing describes 45 levels across five worlds. These are product details from the store page, not claims based on an independent gameplay or performance test.

If you want the original 1997 PC version
The official materials cited here do not provide current Windows compatibility instructions or guarantee that the original PC release will run on a modern installation. They also do not establish a verified setup using an emulator, compatibility layer or unofficial patch. Argonaut Games announced on October 1, 2026 that development of the Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos remaster was complete, with a digital launch planned for October 29, 2026, including Windows PC. That announcement concerns the sequel, not Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
