Lies of P: Complete Edition is the Nintendo Switch 2 release, and it includes both the base game and the Overture prequel expansion. Its graphics options trade frame rate against image quality; an official update dated 5 August 2026 added a handheld Performance-centered option that supports up to 60 fps. That wording describes capability, not a promise of a locked 60 fps.
Which Lies of P edition is on Nintendo Switch 2?
The Switch 2 version is Lies of P: Complete Edition. Nintendo’s listing says it includes the original action RPG, the Overture prequel expansion, post-launch quality-of-life updates, difficulty modes and challenge modes. See Nintendo’s product listing.
The game is a soulslike action RPG built around combat, exploration and character progression. Nintendo describes systems including parrying, weapon crafting by combining blades and handles, and Legion Arms. The Switch 2 edition packages the game and expansion; the available information does not indicate that its underlying game is a separate redesign.
Digital and physical release dates depend on region
Nintendo UK lists 5 August 2026 as the release date. Separately, NEOWIZ announced a Japanese digital release for 6 August 2026 and a physical edition made with iam8bit for 2 October 2026. Those dates describe different territories and formats, so check the Nintendo eShop or local retailer listing for availability where you live. NEOWIZ’s announcement gives the Japanese format details.

NEOWIZ’s announcement lists a Japanese suggested retail price of ¥7,980, including tax, and a CERO D (17+) rating. Neither should be treated as a universal price or rating: local pricing and age classifications are territory-specific. The announcement does not establish whether the physical card contains all software data or requires a download, so check the packaging and local product listing before buying if that matters to you.
What do the Switch 2 graphics modes do?
NEOWIZ’s version 1.13.1.0 notes, dated 5 August 2026, describe three graphics choices for handheld mode. The earlier “Performance-centered” option was renamed “Balanced,” and a new “Performance-centered” option supports up to 60 fps. The notes also list a fix for a resolution issue in handheld Quality-centered mode and a motion-blur toggle in TV Mode. Read the official update notes.

TechRadar’s review reported smooth 60 fps in docked Performance-centered mode, stable 30 fps in Balanced, and object pop-in across modes. These are the reviewer’s observations from the build tested on 3 August 2026, not measurements of the later patched build. Accessibility, difficulty and expected playtime
TechRadar reported color-vision modes for protanopia, deuteranopia and tritanopia, adjustable subtitle display and size, full button remapping, and two easier difficulty options. These are features the reviewer observed, not a separately itemized accessibility specification in Nintendo’s listing.

The same review estimated roughly 40–50 hours for a first playthrough with Overture. Treat that as the reviewer’s estimate, not an official completion-time promise; playtime varies with exploration, combat difficulty and how much optional content you pursue.

If portability and having the expansion bundled with the base game are priorities, Complete Edition offers both in one release. Choose Performance-centered when smoother motion matters most, Balanced if you prefer the reviewer’s reported 30 fps compromise, or Quality-centered if image quality matters more and you accept the performance cost noted in the review. For the clearest picture of current behavior, keep the date distinction in mind: the independent review was published 3 August 2026, while the cited official update notes are dated 5 August.

NEOWIZ said in its 2026 announcement that Lies of P and Lies of P: Overture had reached a combined 4 million sales excluding subscriptions. The announcement does not specify a separate measurement date for that figure, so it should be understood as the total NEOWIZ reported there, not a Switch 2 sales figure.
