Tencent Gaming Buddy was rebranded as GameLoop. To play PUBG MOBILE on a Windows PC, install GameLoop and install the mobile game through its Game Center—not from an old Tencent Gaming Buddy installer or an unofficial APK. This runs the mobile client in an Android-on-PC emulator; it is not the separate native PC game, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.
Is Tencent Gaming Buddy still available?
Tencent Gaming Buddy is the former name of GameLoop, not a separate current emulator you need to find. GameLoop announced the rebrand in 2021. Older videos, screenshots and guides may still use the old name, but that does not make an old installer current or safe. See GameLoop’s rebrand announcement.
GameLoop describes its PUBG MOBILE offering as Android on PC, with keyboard-and-mouse mapping and graphics controls. Its PUBG MOBILE page gives the installation route. Before downloading, check the address bar: GameLoop’s PUBG page is on gameloop-pubg.com, while its rebrand announcement and support center are on gameloop.com. Do not trust an old download button, mirror, or file merely because it says “Tencent Gaming Buddy.”
Choose the right PUBG game

Use GameLoop when you specifically want PUBG MOBILE on a larger screen with keyboard and mouse. If you just want PUBG on a computer and do not need the mobile client or its progression, consider the native PC edition instead.

Check GameLoop’s published PC requirements
The following are the specifications currently listed on GameLoop’s PUBG MOBILE page. They are published requirements, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or smooth performance.

These figures come from the GameLoop PUBG MOBILE page. It does not state a target FPS, required free-storage amount, whether Windows 11 is formally supported, or whether integrated graphics are sufficient. Results also depend on the PC, drivers, storage, virtualization, and the current GameLoop and game builds.
Virtualization can matter to emulator operation, but it is not a universal prerequisite. Intel systems may call it Intel VT-x or Intel Virtualization Technology; AMD systems may label it AMD-V or SVM Mode. If troubleshooting points to virtualization, consult your PC or motherboard maker’s instructions for its UEFI/BIOS menu rather than changing unrelated firmware settings. GameLoop lists enabling virtualization among its support topics.

Install PUBG MOBILE through GameLoop
- Confirm that your PC is running Windows and compare it with GameLoop’s published requirements.
- Download the Windows installer from GameLoop’s official website. Verify the domain in your browser before opening the file; avoid third-party mirrors and old Tencent Gaming Buddy downloads.
- Run the installer and complete the Windows setup.
- Launch GameLoop and open the Game Center.
- Search for PUBG MOBILE, select the game, and choose Install.
- Let GameLoop download the game files and any required components. Keep the emulator open until installation and any in-game update have finished.
- Launch PUBG MOBILE from GameLoop and sign in using an account method supported for your region and client.
- Before starting a serious match, review the control mapping, mouse behavior, graphics and frame-rate options, audio devices, and in-game sensitivity.
The expected result is PUBG MOBILE opening inside GameLoop as a mobile game. The interface and settings are not those of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC. GameLoop’s installation instructions describe this same Game Center flow.

Set up controls, graphics and audio
Keyboard and mouse
Open GameLoop’s on-screen key-mapping or controls panel and inspect the bindings shown for the current game build. Check movement, crouch, prone, jump, reload, inventory, map, fire and scope actions. To change a key, edit its displayed binding, avoid assigning the same key to conflicting actions, then apply or save the layout. If the controls become unusable, restore the default profile in the same panel.
Test mouse capture before entering a match. Emulators commonly lock the mouse to the game view; use the on-screen mouse-lock or cursor-release control, or the toggle shown in the current mapping overlay. The exact control can vary by build, so do not rely on an unverified shortcut. Tune PUBG MOBILE’s in-game sensitivity separately from emulator input settings. If controls disappear after a game update, reopen the mapping panel and refresh or restore the profile.

Graphics and performance
Begin with a graphics quality and resolution your PC can sustain, then adjust the available frame-rate option in GameLoop or the game settings. Labels and available options can change by region and version. GameLoop does not publish a guaranteed FPS for the listed hardware, so treat settings as a compatibility and responsiveness trade-off rather than a promise of a particular frame rate.
Audio and microphone
If voice chat or sound fails, check that Windows is using the intended playback and recording devices, then check GameLoop’s input and output device choices and PUBG MOBILE’s microphone permission. Test a headset if available, close other applications that may have exclusive control of the audio device, and restart GameLoop after switching devices. GameLoop’s support center lists audio and microphone problems among its topics.
Understand emulator matchmaking and account safety
Using an authorized emulator is different from trying to hide emulator use. Expect emulator-aware matchmaking or queues; the exact opponents and wait time can depend on region, population, time, version and account or server conditions. Do not use spoofers or other tools to get into mobile-only matchmaking.

PUBG MOBILE’s anti-cheat notice identifies bypassing emulator detection to play against mobile-device users as cheating. It says detected violations may lead to bans from one to ten years depending on severity; that warning concerns the described violations, not ordinary GameLoop use by itself.
Use the official game client and ordinary supported sign-in methods. Never give your credentials to an unofficial “activation” tool or install cracked clients, modified APKs, scripts, macros, injectors, anti-cheat bypasses or replacement game files. The cited PUBG MOBILE EULA is for Pakistan, not a universal terms page; availability and applicable terms can differ by region.

Installation stalls, unzip fails or disk space is low
- Close GameLoop completely and check free space on both the installation drive and system drive.
- Restart Windows, then run the installer again from GameLoop’s official source.
- If the partial installation remains damaged, uninstall GameLoop and reinstall it from the official source.
- Do not restore individual APKs or DLLs from third-party websites.
GameLoop’s support center lists installation stalls and insufficient disk space among its known support topics.

Registry or permission error
Use a normal Windows installation location with appropriate permissions. If the installer fails, try a different standard location; run it as administrator only if needed. Do not delete registry keys or use a registry cleaner based on generic advice. If the error persists, contact GameLoop support.
The game will not launch or is stuck on the launch screen
- Restart GameLoop and Windows, then check for GameLoop and PUBG MOBILE updates.
- Use GameLoop’s repair or reinstall option if available, or reinstall PUBG MOBILE within GameLoop if its files appear incomplete.
- Update the graphics driver through the GPU manufacturer and test whether the issue changes.
- If the emulator is unstable or unusually slow, check the device maker’s instructions for virtualization settings.
- After a major PUBG MOBILE update, allow for a compatibility issue between the new game package and the installed emulator build.
Low FPS, stutter, input delay or high ping
Separate rendering, input and network symptoms before changing settings: low FPS and visual stutter point to rendering; delayed mouse response or broken mappings point to input; high ping, rubber-banding and failed matchmaking point to network or queue conditions.
- Close unnecessary applications and check CPU, GPU, RAM and disk usage while the game runs.
- On a laptop, use a stable power profile; reduce GameLoop resolution or graphics quality if rendering is the problem.
- Disable unnecessary overlays and recording tools, then check for a current GPU driver.
- Test whether the issue appears in menus or only during online matches; do not treat network delay as a graphics problem.
- If matchmaking is slow, account for region, time, queue population and version rather than assuming a GPU setting will fix it.
GameLoop lists low FPS and accelerator or ping issues separately in its support center, and provides graphics controls on its PUBG MOBILE page.
Mouse is trapped or cursor will not release
Look for the on-screen mouse-lock or cursor-release control and check the current key-mapping overlay for its toggle. If the cursor remains trapped, restore the default control profile. Rule out emulator capture before changing Windows pointer settings.

PUBG MOBILE is missing from Game Center
Catalog availability can depend on region, GameLoop build or account region; a search-name difference or an incomplete catalog refresh may also be involved. Confirm your region and client, refresh or restart Game Center, and consult GameLoop support. Do not use a random APK to work around a missing listing.
Version error or problems after an update
There can be separate updates for GameLoop, the PUBG MOBILE package, emulator components and Windows or graphics drivers. Check for GameLoop updates, let the game finish its update, and restart the emulator. If the game package appears corrupted, repair or reinstall it through GameLoop after confirming you can access your account. Avoid replacing files with ones from an older guide; menus and graphics options may change after updates.
