RuneFest 2026 takes place on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 October in Hall 5 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC). The organiser’s FAQ says tickets are sold out, so existing ticket-holders should prepare their QR confirmation, plan their journey to the venue and check the live event instructions before setting out.
Check your ticket and admission details
RuneFest’s official FAQ currently lists the 2026 event as sold out. It identifies See Tickets fan-to-fan as the only legitimate resale route. The terms say tickets bought from unauthorised third parties may be voided without a refund; tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, subject to specified cancellation or rescheduling exceptions. Check the official FAQ and ticket terms for current instructions rather than relying on an unofficial seller.
The FAQ lists the event-specific prices as £210 for Standard and £375 for Gold, both plus a booking fee; it says tickets are sold out. Standard covers both event days and includes a goodie bag. Gold adds limited-run merchandise, early merch access, reserved front-of-stage seating, priority booking for LAN and meet-and-greet areas, and a 15% merchandise discount subject to terms. Gold is an optional set of extras, not a requirement for attending.
Keep your ticket confirmation email or QR code ready. The FAQ says printing is unnecessary and check-in scans the QR code. It says ID is not needed for check-in, but alcohol purchases require ID; the terms reserve the right to request matching photo ID. Bring photo ID if practical and follow staff directions.

Plan when to arrive
The NEC listing gives daily venue hours of 10am–8pm, while RuneFest’s FAQ says Saturday’s show starts promptly at 10:30am and queues open at 8:30am. These refer to different venue and event timings, so follow the latest ticket and event instructions for the day you attend. The FAQ advises against arriving before queues open because early arrivals can cause congestion.
