Add a sponsor slide as a separate video, then place it between the event replays in a YouTube playlist. This changes the playlist order; it does not insert a slide into the replay itself.
What you need
- The event replay videos you want to organize.
- A sponsor slide published as a separate YouTube video. If you want a still image to appear between replays, prepare and publish it as a video first; YouTube’s playlist controls do not insert a slide into another video.
- A playlist you can edit in YouTube Studio.
Create or open the playlist
Create a playlist
- Sign in to YouTube Studio on desktop.
- Select Create → New playlist.
- Enter a title and description, choose the visibility, add the replay and sponsor-slide videos, then create the playlist.
Edit an existing playlist
- In YouTube Studio, select Content → Playlists.
- Open the playlist’s menu and choose Edit on YouTube.
- Add any replay or sponsor-slide video that is not already in the playlist.
Arrange the replays and sponsor slides
- Open the playlist for editing.
- Drag the videos up or down into the intended order. For example: Replay 1 → Sponsor slide → Replay 2 → Sponsor slide → Replay 3.
- Open the public playlist as a viewer and check that the saved order looks right.
Editing the playlist changes its stored order. A viewer can also temporarily reorder items in the playlist panel; that viewer-side change is separate from the order you save as the playlist owner. YouTube’s documentation does not guarantee identical display or autoplay behavior across every device or YouTube client, so check the viewer-facing playlist you expect your audience to use.
Check the replay archive before you build around it
YouTube says livestreams shorter than 12 hours can be automatically archived, but streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. That is not a guarantee of an archive: check YouTube Studio under Content → Live to confirm the replay exists. YouTube recommends keeping a local recording as a backup. Handle sponsor disclosures and ad policy
Disclose paid promotion
If a video contains paid promotion or another covered commercial relationship, use the paid promotion control in that video’s details. YouTube displays a disclosure label. Creators are also responsible for any additional disclosure obligations that apply in their jurisdiction. See YouTube’s paid product placements, sponsorships and endorsements guidance and its FTC disclosure guidance for U.S. social-media influencers.

Do not assume every sponsor insert is permitted
A disclosed sponsor slide is not automatically the same thing as an advertiser-supplied commercial break. YouTube says creators cannot include third-party promotions, sponsorships, or ads in formats where YouTube offers a comparable ad format, such as video ads and bumpers. Paid product placements or endorsements are allowed subject to YouTube advertising policies and applicable legal obligations. Check the current policy against the specific material before publishing: YouTube’s paid promotion policies.
