In The Forge on Roblox, current guides describe race rerolls through the in-game menu: open the menu, enter Shop or Rerolls, then choose Race Menu. Some guides also report a Wizard NPC that can spin for a new race. The exact labels can change because the game is in beta, so use the live interface if it differs.
How to reroll your race
- Open the in-game menu. On PC, the Roblox listing identifies T as the menu key. Controller and mobile layouts may use an on-screen menu button.
- Open Shop or Rerolls. Guides currently describe the reroll option inside one of these sections.
- Select Race Menu. Choose the race-reroll control shown there and confirm the spin if the game asks for confirmation.
- Check the result immediately. The new race is random. You cannot select a specific race from the reroll screen, and another spin can produce a race you like less.
A separate race database reports a second route: speak with the Wizard NPC and use that character’s race-spin option. Treat this as an alternative to verify in your current server, not as a guaranteed replacement for the menu route.
What a reroll does—and what it does not do
- It randomizes your race. The button is a spin, not a selection list.
- It does not guarantee a target race. No verified number of spins guarantees a particular result.
- It may replace a race you preferred. Before confirming, make sure you are willing to lose the current result.
- The cost and availability can change. Check the amount or requirement displayed in the live Race Menu rather than relying on an older guide.
Where is the Race Menu?
The commonly reported path is Menu → Shop/Rerolls → Race Menu. If you do not see it:
- Close and reopen the menu after loading fully into the experience.
- Check both Shop and Rerolls; different guides use different labels.
- Look for the Wizard NPC in the current hub or town.
- Rejoin an updated server if the interface appears incomplete.
- Remember that a beta update may move, rename, or temporarily remove the control.
Can you choose which race you get?
No. The reported system is random. You can decide whether to spend another reroll after seeing the result, but the game does not provide a verified way to target a named race. Do not treat a guide’s suggested “best” race or a claimed guaranteed method as authoritative unless the current game itself confirms it.

All races and what each one does
No official, current roster with verified abilities and drop rates is established in the available documentation. Third-party race tables conflict with one another, so reproducing their names, bonuses, or percentages as a definitive list would risk giving you outdated information.
Use the live Race Menu as the source of truth for the server version you are playing. Record the race name and every displayed effect before rerolling; updates can change bonuses without older pages being corrected.

How to compare a race once it appears in game
| Goal | Effect to inspect | Question to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Combat | Damage, attack speed, critical or weapon bonuses | Does it improve the build you actually use? |
| Survivability | Health, defense, healing or resistance | Does it reduce deaths in your current content? |
| Mobility | Movement, stamina, dash or traversal effects | Does it shorten travel or improve positioning? |
| Mining | Mining speed, tool efficiency or resource bonuses | Does it increase the activity that funds your upgrades? |
| Economy | Currency, sell-value or gathering effects | Is the benefit reliable for the way you play? |
These are comparison categories, not a confirmed list of race abilities. A subjective tier list also depends on your build, progression stage, and activity; it is not an objective property of a race.
What are the race drop rates?
Do not rely on exact percentages quoted by third-party pages. The available tables report incompatible odds, and no authoritative current probability table is confirmed. Unless the live game displays rates or the developers publish them for the current version, the defensible answer is that the odds are unverified.

Practical reroll checklist
- Check your current race’s displayed effects before spinning.
- Confirm the current cost or requirement in the Race Menu.
- Set a stopping rule before spending rerolls.
- Screenshot the result and its bonuses if you want a record for your build.
- Recheck the menu after major updates; The Forge is still in beta.
The Bottom Line
Use Menu → Shop/Rerolls → Race Menu, or verify the reported Wizard NPC route. A reroll is random, not a race selector. For the current roster, effects, and odds, trust what the live Race Menu shows rather than conflicting older tables.
