If you mean completed gaming VODs in a playlist, open the playlist’s first video and seek that video to its beginning. YouTube’s documented playlist controls do not include a universal command to reset an entire playlist on every device.
If the gaming stream is still live
YouTube DVR lets viewers pause, rewind, and continue during a live stream when DVR is available. Open the stream and use the player’s seek bar or rewind control to move toward the start of the available DVR window. The exact control can vary by device.
- Open the live stream in YouTube.
- Use the seek bar or rewind control to move backward within the available portion of the broadcast.
- If you cannot rewind far enough, DVR may be disabled or limited, or the broadcast may not have been live long enough to provide the range you want.
YouTube states that “Viewers can never seek back to before you went live.” DVR rewind may also be limited or unavailable on streams longer than 12 hours. Apple TV, Apple AirPlay, and older app versions have lower limits. YouTube Help: Turn on DVR on live streams
If the stream ended and the VOD is in a playlist
- Open the playlist and select the gaming VOD you want to watch first.
- If that video resumes partway through, move its seek position to the beginning.
- If the target VOD is not first in the playlist, reorder the videos or select the intended item directly.
YouTube documents playlist item selection and reordering, including temporary reordering from the playlist panel on a watch page. Reordering changes the sequence; it does not rewind the video currently playing. The available controls may differ by device. Playlist, queue, and live DVR are different
- Live DVR: moves playback backward within the current broadcast, subject to DVR availability and limits.
- Completed VOD: is a recorded video; choose the desired VOD, then seek within that video to its start if needed. Replay availability and timing depend on broadcast recording settings and processing. YouTube’s live API describes the
recordFromStartandenableDvrsettings and their relationship to post-broadcast playback. YouTube Live API: liveBroadcasts - Playlist: a collection of videos with an order you can change. Selecting its first item is different from resetting a video’s playback position.
- Queue: a temporary watch-next arrangement, not a saved playlist. On a computer, a queue does not persist after the browser closes; YouTube recommends saving videos to a playlist to watch later. YouTube Help: Queue videos
