Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsYou can run prerecorded BPSC lessons as a continuous YouTube live stream by enabling YouTube Live, connecting an encoder to a stream in YouTube Studio, and feeding it a playlist or recording. Before choosing a literal 24-hour session, plan around YouTube’s archive limit: streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured. For dependable lesson archives, use sessions under 12 hours and keep a local recording backup.
Before you start: check the channel and the lessons
- Enable YouTube Live early. The channel must be verified and must not have had a live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave this until launch day. See YouTube’s live-streaming access guidance.
- Confirm the exact BPSC exam. BPSC exams, syllabuses, formats, and schedules can differ and change. Check the latest official notice for the exam your stream covers before stating dates, subjects, or eligibility. No current official BPSC notice is cited here, so this guide does not assert exam-specific details.
- Clear rights for every item. You need permission for the lessons and any embedded music, images, clips, or other material in both the live broadcast and its archive. YouTube’s live-stream terms require the content to comply with Community Guidelines and applicable rights requirements: YouTube live-stream terms.
Choose a stream schedule that preserves recordings
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. If viewers need to replay lessons, schedule separate sessions shorter than 12 hours and make a local recording backup. The session-break approach is a practical precaution based on YouTube’s stated limit, not a guarantee that every archive will be available. Check YouTube’s live-stream archive guidance before planning the archive workflow.
For a round-the-clock channel, this means planning a sequence of sessions rather than assuming one endless broadcast will produce a complete replay. Decide how you will name, schedule, and locally retain each session, and test the handoff between sessions before relying on it.
Set up the YouTube live stream and encoder
- Enable live streaming. Verify the channel and request live access in YouTube Studio. Allow up to 24 hours for a first activation.
- Create or schedule the broadcast. In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream. Copy the server URL and stream key shown for that stream into your encoder.
- Protect the stream key. Treat it like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to your broadcast. Do not post it in public, share it unnecessarily, or include it in screenshots. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube Studio and update the encoder.
- Choose a compatible encoder. YouTube recommends RTMPS, the secure extension to RTMP. Its encoder guidance lists H.264, H.265, and AV1 video options. For H.264, YouTube recommends 5 Mbps for 1080p at 30 fps and 3 Mbps for 480p at 30 fps. These are platform recommendations, not a promise that a particular computer or internet connection can sustain them. See YouTube’s encoder settings.
- Build the playback source. Set the recording or playlist to repeat in the encoder or playback workflow you use. Confirm the source actually advances and loops as intended; YouTube receives the encoder’s outgoing feed, not your playlist configuration.
- Preview before going public. Send a test feed, inspect the incoming preview in Live Control Room, and check sound as well as picture. Use representative material with speech, movement, and any music that will appear in the real stream.
- Start the broadcast and monitor it. Confirm the watch page opens for viewers, then keep checking stream health and audio/video quality during operation. YouTube recommends upload bandwidth headroom; its streaming tips specify 20% as a recommendation. Leave capacity beyond the selected video bitrate for variable network conditions and other household or office traffic. See YouTube’s streaming tips.
Make the study stream original and rights-safe
Recorded lessons can be useful as a live study stream, but merely looping material does not make it original. YouTube’s monetization policies apply to live streams, and repetitive or mass-produced material with little educational value may be ineligible. Reviewers assess the channel as a whole. YouTube’s inauthentic-content policy clarification took effect July 15, 2025; see the current YouTube channel monetization policies.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
To make the educational value apparent, teach rather than simply rebroadcast: explain solutions, add instructor commentary, divide material into distinct topics, and avoid cycling nearly identical segments without context. These practices align with YouTube’s stated originality and educational-value standards; they do not guarantee monetization approval. Do not rebroadcast other teachers’ recordings unless you have the necessary rights.
Keep the feed running: local encoder or cloud
A local software encoder can send the playlist while its computer, encoder, and internet connection remain available. A cloud service shifts playback and sending away from the home computer; compare continuous-operation needs, recovery behavior, looping controls, archive handling, monitoring, and total cost before choosing. YouTube’s encoder guidance describes software, hardware, and cloud-based options, but the options vary and should be checked against their own current terms.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping an uploaded recording or playlist live around the clock. Upload the lesson video or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. Each slot streams what you upload, up to 4K at 60 fps, at one flat price per slot, with no re-encode or quality tiers; it also loops continuously and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. A slot includes 10 GB of storage, pooled across active slots, and support from the StreamNeo team. Review the StreamNeo pricing and plan details, and check lesson rights and YouTube archive needs separately. Start your free first day with StreamNeo.
Troubleshoot common stream problems
- Live access is unavailable: confirm the channel is verified, has no live-stream restriction in the previous 90 days, and allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
- The preview is blank or the encoder will not connect: check that the encoder has the correct server URL and current stream key for the selected YouTube stream, that the key has not been reset, and that the encoder is sending to the expected destination. Keep the key private.
- The stream buffers or reports poor health: reduce the encoder bitrate or resolution, test the actual connection, and preserve YouTube’s recommended 20% upload headroom. Other devices or network traffic can consume the capacity the stream needs.
- Viewers hear no audio or the wrong audio: verify the encoder’s audio input and levels, then preview the broadcast with representative lesson content before making it public.
- The archive is missing or incomplete: check whether the session exceeded 12 hours. Because YouTube says longer streams may not be captured, use shorter sessions and a local recording if the replay matters.
- A lesson or music triggers a rights issue: remove or replace material you cannot use, and make sure permissions cover live use as well as archiving.
- The loop feels repetitive or monetization is at risk: add meaningful teaching, commentary, and topic variety. Replaying nearly identical material with little educational value can be a policy concern even when the channel owns the files.
Optional audio equipment
If an instructor is recording or narrating lessons, an external microphone may improve voice capture. It is optional; YouTube does not require a particular microphone for an encoder-based stream. Test levels in the encoder and preview before broadcasting.
