Choose a Custom giveaway for a prize you describe, or Merch for an item already available in your Streamlabs merch store.
Choose the right giveaway type

For a merch giveaway, set up the store and add the item before creating the profile. Streamlabs’ Cloudbot giveaway guide describes both options and their fulfillment flows.
Create a saved giveaway profile
- Open Cloudbot settings and go to the Giveaways tab.
- Select Add Giveaway Profile.
- Choose Custom or Merch, depending on the prize.
- Enter a unique profile name and describe the prize. For a merch profile, select the relevant store item.
- Decide whether to enable a timer. If enabled, set the duration so Cloudbot can close entries automatically.
- Configure entry permissions and ticket rules, then confirm and save the profile.
The profile is saved before a live giveaway begins, so you can prepare and reuse it rather than configuring the prize and rules during the stream.
Set entry, eligibility, and ticket rules
Permissions and follower eligibility
Use the permission controls to decide who may enter. The follower setting is separate: it can prevent non-followers from winning while still allowing them to enter. Do not treat that option as the same thing as follower-only entry.

Tickets and loyalty points
Cloudbot tickets use loyalty points. Set the ticket cost, maximum tickets per viewer, and any subscriber or non-subscriber bonus tickets. These controls affect how entries are counted; review the profile before launch to ensure the cost and bonuses match the giveaway you intend to run.
Timer and messages
A timer and duration determine whether the entry period closes automatically. Giveaway settings also let you customize the default command, entry response, other giveaway messages, and a repeat reminder. Check the messages for clear instructions and a useful closing time before starting.

Start, close, and draw the giveaway
- When you are ready to accept entries, open the saved profile and select Start Giveaway.
- Monitor entrants and ticket counts while the giveaway is active.
- Close entries yourself when you are ready, or let the configured timer close them.
- After entries have closed, select Pick a Winner.
- Watch the selected winner’s messages and follow up to arrange the prize.
For a custom prize, coordinate its delivery or redemption with the winner. If the selected person cannot claim it or is otherwise ineligible under your stated rules, use the reroll option as appropriate.
Complete a merch prize redemption
- After the draw, monitor the winner’s messages for their response.
- The winner receives a unique redemption URL and uses it to enter applicable size, color, and shipping details.
- Complete the merch giveaway after the winner confirms the claim.
Unlike a custom prize, merch fulfillment includes this redemption step. Allow time for the winner to respond before marking the giveaway complete.

Before you announce the giveaway
- State the prize, entry method, entry deadline, and any eligibility requirements clearly in your stream or promotion.
- Check that the profile’s permissions, follower rule, ticket cost, limits, and bonus tickets match what you have announced.
- Confirm the merch item is in your store before using a Merch profile.
- Check the rules that apply in your location and on the streaming platform where you promote the giveaway. Cloudbot’s controls do not establish that a promotion complies with local law or platform rules.
