To stream bhajans, satsang, aarti, or devotional talks with Larix Broadcaster on Android, enable YouTube live streaming, create an encoder event in Live Control Room, enter its stream URL and key in Larix, then rehearse and monitor the broadcast. Use RTMPS where supported, choose settings your phone and upload connection can sustain, and confirm rights for both the music and any recording you broadcast.
Before you start: YouTube channel and equipment
This workflow uses Larix as an encoder that sends video from your Android phone to YouTube. It is distinct from going live directly in the YouTube mobile app: YouTube’s mobile-app eligibility requirements do not automatically apply to this encoder workflow. You do need live streaming enabled on your channel. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so enable it before the day of the program. See YouTube’s encoder setup guidance and mobile-app eligibility details.
- An Android phone with Larix Broadcaster installed and permission to use its camera and microphone.
- A YouTube channel with live streaming enabled.
- A reliable internet connection with enough upload capacity for your chosen stream settings.
- A stable phone mount or tripod if the phone will remain fixed. For clearer singing or speech, an external microphone or audio interface is optional; confirm Android compatibility and test it with Larix before the event.
- Permission to stream the specific songs, arrangements, backing tracks, and recordings, including any replay you plan to leave available.
Create the YouTube encoder event and get its connection details
- In YouTube Studio, open Live Control Room.
- Create or schedule a live stream using the encoder workflow. Enter the event’s title, description, audience and other details, and review its visibility and replay settings.
- Open the stream settings and copy the stream URL and stream key. YouTube treats the key like a password: do not share it or show it in screenshots. If it is exposed, reset it in Live Control Room before broadcasting.
- Prefer the RTMPS destination when it is available. In stream settings, reveal the RTMPS URL and use that URL rather than assuming a sample or ordinary RTMP address is interchangeable. YouTube describes RTMPS as RTMP protected with TLS/SSL. Its RTMPS instructions explain the secure destination; Larix for Android documents RTMPS/SSL support.
Use the live URL and key shown for your own event. Do not copy a URL or key from an example, another stream, or a tutorial.
Connect Larix Broadcaster to YouTube
- Open Larix Broadcaster and go to its connection settings.
- Create a connection and enter the YouTube destination details from Live Control Room. Depending on the Larix form, you can enter the server URL and stream key separately or use a connection URL that combines the server URL and stream name/key. Softvelum’s Larix documentation describes the connection URL format.
- Check that the protocol matches the URL you copied. If you selected RTMPS, keep the secure protocol and destination intact; do not casually change it to RTMP.
- Save the connection, then confirm Larix is using the intended camera, microphone or external audio input, and orientation before starting the event.
Larix for Android supports H.264 video, AAC audio, RTMP/RTMPS, and external USB audio devices. Device-specific connector and accessory compatibility can vary; Softvelum’s Larix for Android information is the relevant product reference.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Choose video, audio, and bandwidth settings
For a straightforward standard dynamic range broadcast, H.264 video with AAC audio is a practical starting point. YouTube’s encoder guidance accepts RTMP/RTMPS, recommends constant bitrate (CBR), supports up to 60 fps, and recommends a two-second keyframe interval that should not exceed four seconds. For stereo AAC, YouTube recommends a 44.1 kHz sample rate. These are platform recommendations; choose an output your phone and connection can maintain. Consult YouTube’s encoder settings and bitrate guidance.
| Setting | Practical starting guidance |
|---|---|
| Video codec | H.264 |
| Rate control | CBR |
| Resolution and frame rate | 720p at 30 fps is a reasonable starting point if the phone and connection sustain it. |
| Video bitrate | YouTube recommends 2–6 Mbps for 720p at 30 fps. This is a recommendation range, not a guarantee for your phone or network. |
| Keyframe interval | 2 seconds recommended; do not exceed 4 seconds. |
| Audio | AAC; 44.1 kHz recommended for stereo AAC. |
Measure upload speed in the place and at the time you expect to stream. The total stream bitrate must fit within sustained upload capacity, with headroom for variation. YouTube recommends leaving 20% headroom. If the connection fluctuates, lower the video bitrate or resolution and rehearse again rather than choosing a high setting based on a brief speed-test peak. Its streaming tips cover upload capacity and testing.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
Audio deserves particular attention for devotional singing and spoken prayer. Rehearse with the actual singer, instruments, microphone distance, and room sound. Listen for clipping, echo, excessive room noise, and a voice that is too quiet relative to instruments. Built-in phone audio is simplest; an external USB audio device may improve capture if it is compatible and tested. Do not assume a microphone or adapter works with every Android phone.
Rehearse, start, and monitor the live stream
- Run a rehearsal before the scheduled service with comparable audio, movement, lighting, and network conditions. YouTube explicitly advises testing before going live.
- Start the Larix connection so it sends video and audio to YouTube. Allow time for the incoming preview to appear in Live Control Room.
- Check the preview and stream health indicators. Verify framing, orientation, focus, singing or speech level, and that the intended audio input is being used. Check that the event is accessible on the channel or watch page and on a mobile device.
- When the preview and stream are ready, select Go Live in Live Control Room if the event configuration requires it. Keep monitoring audio and stream health during the program.
- At the end, stop the Larix encoder and end the event in YouTube Studio when prompted. Streams under 12 hours are automatically archived according to YouTube’s encoder guidance; check the event’s archive and replay settings rather than relying on an assumed setting.
YouTube’s encoder setup page covers the control-room flow, while its streaming tips discuss rehearsal, preview, accessibility checks, and monitoring.

Choose latency and replay settings for the kind of service
Latency is the delay between capture and playback. YouTube notes that lower latency may increase buffering. If the service includes live prayer requests or chat-led participation, test a lower-latency option on the actual connection and weigh quicker interaction against playback stability. If the broadcast is uninterrupted music or discourse with little audience interaction, prioritize stable playback. DVR, when enabled, lets viewers pause and rewind. There is no single best latency or DVR choice for every devotional stream; review the event’s options in Live Control Room and test them. See YouTube’s live stream settings guidance.
Clear music and recording rights before broadcasting
Identify the composition and the specific sound recording separately. A traditional lyric or devotional subject does not by itself establish that a modern arrangement, backing track, or recording is cleared. Confirm permission for the live broadcast and for any archived replay you intend to make available. This applies to commercial recordings and another performer’s recording as well as material used as background music. Ask the relevant rights holder or a qualified adviser about the specific material; no general assurance can establish that a particular bhajan or recording is free to use or immune from claims or interruption.

Troubleshoot common Larix-to-YouTube problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube does not show an incoming preview | Live streaming is not enabled yet, the wrong event is open, or Larix is not sending to the event’s current destination. | Confirm live activation is complete, the correct event is selected, and Larix has the current URL and key. First-time enablement can take up to 24 hours. |
| Larix reports a connection error | URL, key, or protocol mismatch. | Copy the destination again from that event’s Live Control Room settings. If using RTMPS, retain the RTMPS URL and avoid substituting a sample address. |
| Video or audio stutters | The phone or upload connection cannot sustain the selected settings, or the network varies. | Reduce resolution or bitrate, verify total bitrate against upload capacity with headroom, and rehearse again under realistic conditions. |
| Viewers cannot hear singing clearly | Wrong audio input, poor mic placement, clipping, room noise, or instruments overpowering vocals. | Check Larix’s selected input and levels; adjust mic distance and balance, then test with the actual performers and instruments. |
| The recording is missing or unavailable after the service | Archive or replay settings may not match expectations, or the stream did not end as intended. | Review archive and replay settings in Studio and verify the event after stopping the encoder and ending the broadcast. |
Or let it run in the cloud
Larix is useful when you want a live camera feed from the phone. If instead you want an uploaded devotional recording or playlist to keep a YouTube channel live, StreamNeo runs that playback in the cloud: upload the video, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It streams what you upload, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot with no quality tiers; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly service is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo or start the free first day.
