You can run a continuous YouTube broadcast of Punjabi gospel worship recordings by enabling live streaming, clearing every recording for the planned use, coordinating Content ID allowlisting with the relevant rights holders, and sending a prepared audio/video feed through an encoder. The rights checks come first: YouTube can interrupt a licensed stream if the channel is not allowlisted, and an archived broadcast may receive claims after it ends. YouTube does not promise an uninterrupted 24/7 mode, so plan for monitoring and recovery rather than assuming the stream will run without intervention.
Before anything else, clear the recordings
Having access to a song on YouTube or a music service does not grant permission to rebroadcast it. For each recording, identify the relevant composition and sound-recording rights holders, such as the publisher, label, distributor, or master owner. Ask for written permission covering the intended continuous YouTube live transmission and, if you plan to retain or make the broadcast available afterward, the archive or replay as well. Confirm territories, term, monetization, and any other intended channel use.
Do not assume that a general church or worship license covers prerecorded commercial masters, YouTube rebroadcasting, or the platform’s automated rights controls. A hymn’s age alone also does not establish that a particular arrangement or recording is free to use. Ask the relevant rights holders or distributor about the specific tracks and masters in your rotation.
Make a track-by-track rights inventory
Keep a record of each track, artist, label or distributor, master owner, permission scope, territories, term, monetization restrictions, and Content ID administrator. This helps you verify that your playlist and intended archive match the permissions you actually received.

Prepare the YouTube channel in advance
YouTube for Artists says to enable live streaming by verifying the account at least 24 hours before the planned first stream. Complete that setup early and run a controlled test before announcing a continuous broadcast. YouTube recommends an encoder when a music channel needs more customization and control than a simple mobile or webcam stream provides; it does not require a particular encoder or dedicated hardware.
Coordinate with the label or distributor when using copyright-protected music. YouTube for Artists specifically recommends this to reduce the risk of copyright problems during a live stream: Going Live for Music Channels.

Get Content ID allowlisting confirmed
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content, including material in another live broadcast. If it detects a match, YouTube may replace the stream with a placeholder image and warn you to stop using the content; if the content remains, the stream can be temporarily interrupted or terminated. A copyright or Community Guidelines strike can also end a broadcast. YouTube’s instruction for licensed third-party content is to ask the owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Confirm that the correct channel and the repertoire you plan to play are covered before going live: Copyright issues with live streams.
Content ID is a matching system used by some copyright owners. Depending on the owner’s settings, a match can block a video, monetize it, or track viewership, and policies may vary by geography. A platform claim is not, by itself, proof that you lack a license; likewise, having a license does not ensure that YouTube’s automated systems will leave the live broadcast uninterrupted. Configure the broadcast and send the feed
YouTube’s Live Streaming API distinguishes the broadcast—the event viewers watch—from the stream—the audio/video feed sent to YouTube. You need a playback setup that supplies the recordings as a continuous feed and an encoder that sends that feed to the broadcast. The official quick-start material recommends an encoder for greater control but does not prescribe a bitrate, resolution, keyframe interval, computer specification, encoder model, or playlist automation method. Choose settings appropriate to your own encoder and connection rather than treating an unsupported universal configuration as a YouTube requirement.
- Verify and enable live streaming: complete account verification and live-stream enablement at least 24 hours before the first planned broadcast.
- Create and configure the broadcast: set up the event in YouTube’s live workflow, then connect its stream to the encoder you will use. YouTube’s API overview explains the broadcast and stream concepts: YouTube Live Streaming API Overview.
- Choose archive behavior deliberately: decide whether the broadcast should be recorded and saved, and review available controls such as DVR and recording from the start. These controls are documented for broadcasts, but options may not be identical for every channel or workflow: LiveBroadcasts.
- Run a controlled test: check the outgoing audio and video, the broadcast status in YouTube Studio, and any warnings or restrictions before relying on the feed for continuous programming.
- Monitor the live run: YouTube’s documentation does not promise uninterrupted operation for a 24/7 event. Arrange an operator or other monitoring plan appropriate to the channel, and know how you will respond if YouTube stops the feed or the encoder loses its input.
- Review the result: after ending the broadcast, inspect the saved video and any Content ID claims, then resolve them with the relevant rights holder and your permission records. Do not dispute a valid claim automatically.
Google’s documentation describes broadcast recording and archive behavior, including conversion of a completed broadcast into a YouTube video: Life of a Broadcast. YouTube also says Content ID claims against an archived live stream are made after the live event ends, so live clearance does not automatically clear the archive.

Plan for operations and recovery
A continuous channel needs more than a playlist: it needs a way to notice failures and restore the feed, plus a rights process that remains valid for the full run and any saved archive. If you need external help, YouTube’s Services Directory lists providers that may support scheduling, encoding, channel-stream management, local archive retention, redundancy, or streaming practice. The directory describes service categories; check each provider’s current scope and suitability yourself.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a cloud service to keep a prerecorded YouTube stream going, StreamNeo is made for uploaded videos and playlists: upload the recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Its cloud playback means nothing has to stay on at home; it streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot, and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. StreamNeo is for YouTube streams, not camera-based live production, and you still need the rights and Content ID arrangements described above.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does YouTube provide a special 24/7 mode that guarantees the stream will never stop?
No such mode or uninterrupted uptime guarantee is established by the official guidance cited here. Treat continuous operation as an operational goal that requires monitoring and a recovery plan.
Can I use a church license for any Punjabi gospel recording?
Not necessarily. Check whether the actual permission covers the composition, the sound recording, continuous YouTube transmission, territories, monetization, and any archive or replay you intend to keep.
Can a licensed song still trigger a YouTube interruption or claim?
Yes. A live stream may be interrupted if the channel is not on the relevant Content ID owner’s allowlist, and an archived stream may receive a claim after it ends.
