In YouTube Studio, schedule a separate live event for each day, then start the actual broadcast from your encoder when the session is due. YouTube’s Studio instructions describe scheduling and reusing settings, but do not document a daily-repeat switch. The event page can be shared in advance; it does not send your video feed by itself.
Before scheduling: check that the channel can go live
YouTube states that a channel must be verified, must not have had live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days, and the streamer must be at least 16 years old. Check access before announcing a daily series: menu availability and channel eligibility should not be assumed.
Schedule the first meditation session in YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live to open Live Control Room.
- Choose Manage → Schedule Stream.
- Select a new stream, or choose Reuse settings if you have already configured a similar session.
- Enter the event details, scheduled date and time, and visibility, then save.
- Open the event’s watch page and share its URL with your audience.
Choose an audience-facing time and state its time zone wherever you promote it. A daily time is your programming choice, not a YouTube meditation-specific setting. If viewers are in several regions, write the zone explicitly; local clock changes can alter the corresponding UTC time.
Review copied settings when reusing an event
Reuse settings can carry metadata, settings, and the stream key forward. Before saving each new event, check the title, description, scheduled date and time, visibility, and any other details that should differ for that day’s session. This avoids publishing yesterday’s session information on today’s watch page.

How to make the schedule daily
For ordinary Studio use, create one event per day. You can reuse the previous event’s settings to avoid re-entering the common setup, but review the session-specific fields each time. YouTube’s documented Studio workflow does not describe a daily recurrence control, so do not treat one scheduled event as a repeating series.
If a developer is building a scheduling workflow, Google’s API documentation describes creating multiple liveBroadcast resources and binding them to one liveStream. The broadcasts are distinct events, while the stream resource can reuse delivery settings. This is an API pattern, not a one-click recurring schedule in Studio. A scheduled broadcast requires a title, scheduled start time, and privacy status.

Share the upcoming watch page without overpromising reach
YouTube says scheduling lets creators promote a stream. Share the watch-page URL in your channel posts, community spaces, newsletter, or other usual announcements, and invite viewers to opt into a reminder. Scheduled streams may appear as upcoming in subscribers’ feeds, but that does not guarantee a notification to every subscriber or a particular audience size.
Start the live video when the session begins
- In your encoder, enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key for the event. If you reused settings, verify that the key and destination are the intended ones.
- Start sending the video feed from the encoder.
- Wait for the feed preview to appear in Live Control Room and check that the sound and picture are correct.
- Select Go live in Live Control Room. The scheduled watch page existed before this step; the event is not broadcasting merely because it was scheduled.
- At the end, end the stream in Live Control Room and stop the encoder feed.
Test the complete setup before the first public session. YouTube’s production guidance recommends testing, checking the preview, and confirming the event is accessible. Use enough lead time for your own equipment and network; a successful test is not a substitute for checking the live preview on the day.

Choose a production method that fits the session
YouTube supports mobile, webcam, encoder, and console streaming methods. For guided meditation, choose according to what the session actually needs: a host on camera, live spoken guidance, overlays or other production control, or simply a prepared video. Encoder setups can accommodate equipment such as microphones and cameras. A USB microphone may help capture spoken guidance, and a webcam is useful only if viewers need to see the host; neither is required just to schedule an event.
Copyright still applies to music, ambient tracks, images, and other material in a meditation session. Use content you own or are authorized to use, and check the rights for every element before broadcasting. Reusing an event’s settings does not grant rights to reuse its content.

After the session: replay and event management
YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. You can manage past, current, and upcoming streams from Studio’s Live area. Check the replay after the session if you plan to share it, and manage its visibility there as appropriate.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Common scheduling and broadcast problems
- You cannot find Go Live or Schedule Stream: check channel verification, age eligibility, and whether the channel has had a live restriction in the previous 90 days. Studio labels or access may vary as YouTube updates the interface.
- The event page is visible, but no video is playing: scheduling creates the upcoming event, not the feed. Start the encoder, confirm the stream URL and key, wait for the preview, then select Go live.
- The wrong session title or details appear: inspect fields copied through Reuse settings and update the title, description, time, and visibility before saving.
- The event does not repeat tomorrow: create a separate scheduled event for the next day. Studio’s documented process does not provide a daily-repeat switch.
- The session starts at an unexpected local time: check the event’s scheduled time and the time zone stated in your promotion, especially around local clock changes.
- Viewers cannot hear the guidance or music: check the encoder’s audio input and the Live Control Room preview before selecting Go live.
Or let it run in the cloud
If your goal is a continuous YouTube channel playing uploaded meditation recordings rather than a teacher speaking live at a scheduled time, StreamNeo is a different workflow: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. It loops uploaded videos from the cloud; it does not broadcast a live camera or replace scheduling an event for a real-time guided session.
