To schedule Hindi and English lofi songs in a 24/7 YouTube stream, create a scheduled live event in YouTube Studio and send it a continuous feed from an encoder or cloud playout service. For most channels, arrange the songs as one mixed programme—interleaved or grouped into language blocks. YouTube’s published guidance describes selectable multi-language audio for uploaded videos and Shorts, not for an active live broadcast, so don’t promise viewers they can switch between separate Hindi and English music feeds.
“Tracks” can mean songs in two languages within one programme, or separate audio versions viewers can switch between. The steps below cover the first, which is the defensible setup based on YouTube’s documented live-stream workflow.
Choose how Hindi and English songs will alternate
Decide the listening experience before building the playlist. You can interleave Hindi and English songs, play longer blocks of each language, or use another deliberate order. This is the playlist order in the outgoing feed; YouTube’s encoder instructions do not describe a native language-aware scheduler for arranging live songs.
If by “Hindi and English tracks” you mean viewer-selectable alternate music audio, treat that as a separate feature question. YouTube’s multi-language audio instructions cover adding audio to a video or Short, while its live-caption guidance says YouTube currently supports one live caption track. Captions are text, not a second music programme. The reviewed documentation does not establish selectable alternate Hindi and English audio for a live broadcast; check YouTube’s current tools for your channel before planning around that experience.

Choose where the continuous feed will run

Compare options by where playback runs, how you author and change the Hindi/English order, how much supervision you want to provide, and whether your music rights cover both live use and replays. Do not assume every encoder can schedule individual songs or language blocks; check the product’s current playlist controls.
Prepare the channel and clear the music
Enable live streaming in advance
Verify the YouTube channel and enable live streaming before the planned start. YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours. Its getting-started guidance also says the channel must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the preceding 90 days. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions.

Confirm rights for the songs and any replay
Use original, licensed, or otherwise properly cleared music. A song appearing in an encoder playlist does not grant permission to stream it. YouTube for Artists advises: “If you’re planning on using copyright-protected music during your live stream, we recommend coordinating with your label or distributor to avoid any issues, such as copyright strikes.” Read YouTube for Artists’ live-streaming guidance and confirm your permissions cover the live broadcast and any replay or separately published VOD.
Schedule the event in YouTube Studio
- In YouTube Studio, select Create → Go Live.
- Open the Manage tab and select Schedule Stream.
- Reuse prior settings or create a new event, then complete its details and schedule. YouTube says a scheduled stream lets you promote the event and gives viewers a way to set reminders.
- Prepare the Hindi/English playlist in the encoder or playout service you chose. The scheduled YouTube event creates the destination and event page; it does not itself supply the media feed.
Follow the current YouTube Studio instructions if labels or controls differ on your channel.

Connect the feed and go live
- In your encoder, select the scheduled YouTube event using its direct YouTube connection, or enter the YouTube stream URL and stream key if required.
- Start the encoder or cloud playout. Confirm that the intended programme is playing and that the outgoing feed reaches Live Control Room.
- Wait for the preview in Live Control Room, then select Go live when the event is ready.
- Monitor the opening playback: check audio, transitions between Hindi and English songs, the visual loop, and that the correct scheduled event is live.
The event and the encoder are separate parts of the launch: scheduling the event does not start playback, and starting the encoder does not necessarily publish the broadcast. For more complex automation, Google’s YouTube Live Streaming API documentation models a continuing stream as a liveStream associated with a liveBroadcast. It describes a 24/7 feed and an example of a second broadcast sharing that continuing stream. Basic scheduled starts can be handled in Studio without API automation.
Test the complete programme before promoting it
YouTube for Artists recommends testing an unlisted stream before the go-live date, particularly for a high-production or high-investment event. Run through the whole audio chain, including representative Hindi-to-English transitions; check the visual loop; and confirm that your encoder reaches the intended scheduled event. This is a practical way to catch playlist, connection, or event-selection errors before the public launch.

Plan separately for a 24-hour archive
YouTube says live streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its guidance does not promise automatic archival for streams longer than that. If you need a durable replay as well as continuous music, decide whether to split the broadcast, record the feed independently, or publish separate VODs. Ensure music permissions cover the archive or VOD as well as the live use.
Troubleshooting common setup problems
- The stream option is unavailable: check that live streaming is enabled and that the channel meets YouTube’s stated restriction requirements. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
- The event page exists but no video appears: scheduling creates the event, not the media feed. Start the encoder or cloud playout and verify it is sending to the correct stream URL and key.
- The encoder is sending, but the scheduled event is not live: check that it is connected to the intended event, wait for the Live Control Room preview, and select Go live.
- Hindi and English songs play in the wrong order: correct the playlist in the selected playout tool and verify its current controls. YouTube’s encoder guidance does not supply a language-aware playlist scheduler.
- You expected a viewer language switch: a playlist containing songs in both languages is one mixed feed. YouTube’s documented multi-language audio instructions concern videos and Shorts, not a selectable alternate music feed for live broadcasts.
- A long stream has no complete automatic replay: YouTube documents automatic archiving for streams under 12 hours, not a guaranteed archive for longer broadcasts. Use a separate archive plan.
- Music triggers a rights concern: pause and verify that your clearance covers live streaming and any replay. Coordinate with the label or distributor when using copyright-protected music.
