To schedule a prerecorded YouTube stream to repeat in OneStream Live, create a prerecorded broadcast, choose YouTube as a destination, set the stream details and schedule, then turn on Repeat Stream. Choose how often it repeats with Repeats Every, select Days or Weeks under Interval, set the Occurrence count, and select Schedule Broadcast. OneStream Live’s guide documents a repeat count; it does not promise an indefinite schedule.
Before you schedule
- Prepare a prerecorded video or webinar. OneStream Live’s documented recurrence workflow is for prerecorded broadcasts, not a person manually starting a live studio or encoder stream each time. The web app can use a file from your device, OSL Storage, or supported cloud storage; the mobile workflow also offers camera recording and mobile storage. - Connect and select the intended YouTube channel. In OneStream Live, go to Social Platforms, add the account, and authorize it if it is not connected already. The first-stream guide describes connecting a social account; the recurrence guide instructs you to select your destinations during setup: OneStream Live’s first-stream guide.
- Check YouTube eligibility separately. YouTube’s general live-streaming guidance says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. It also sets a minimum age of 16 for livestreaming. These are YouTube requirements, not OneStream Live settings: YouTube: Get started with live streaming.
- Check scheduling access in your account. OneStream Live says prerecorded videos can be scheduled up to 60 days ahead. Its advanced-scheduling article says that feature is supported on Standard and higher-tier plans, but the recurrence guide does not identify which plan specifically unlocks Repeat Stream. Confirm that the control is available on your account rather than assuming the general plan note applies to recurrence: OneStream Live’s overview and advanced scheduling guide.
Schedule a recurring prerecorded stream on the web
- Open the prerecorded-stream workflow. In OneStream Live, choose Pre-recorded Stream, then select Add Videos.
- Add the content. Choose a video from your device, OSL Storage, or an available cloud-storage source such as Google Drive or Dropbox. Continue after selecting the content.
- Choose destinations and enter stream details. Select the connected YouTube channel you want to broadcast to, then fill in the stream details OneStream Live requests. Check that the correct channel is selected before proceeding.
- Set the broadcast time. Schedule the first broadcast for the desired time, or choose the option to start it immediately if that is what you intend.
- Enable recurrence and configure it. Turn on Repeat Stream. Set Repeats Every to the frequency number, choose Days or Weeks for Interval, and set Occurrence to the number of repeats you want.
- Review and submit. Verify the content, YouTube destination, first broadcast time, interval, and occurrence count, then select Schedule Broadcast.
The labels and sequence above follow OneStream Live’s help article, last updated September 21, 2026. A finite occurrence count is documented; do not treat the control as an endless recurrence option.
Set it up in the mobile app
The mobile app follows substantially the same sequence: open Pre-recorded Stream, add or record content, choose destinations, enter stream details, set the schedule, enable Repeat Stream, configure the frequency, interval, and occurrence count, then schedule the broadcast. The mobile content choices also include recording with the camera or selecting mobile storage. Check each scheduled destination and recurrence setting before submitting, just as you would on the web.
What viewers see on YouTube
OneStream Live controls the recurring broadcast setup; YouTube controls its own event and viewer-facing features. YouTube says a scheduled stream can have a shareable URL, allow viewers to set reminders, and appear as an upcoming stream in subscribers’ feeds with a Notify me option. YouTube recommends sharing the link at least 48 hours before going live. Do not assume OneStream Live automatically promotes every occurrence: share the relevant YouTube link yourself when you want to publicize a broadcast. Monetization and keeping the replay
Monetization
OneStream Live documents a YouTube-only monetization option among its advanced prerecorded-stream settings, but ads are enabled only if the channel supports them. YouTube’s encoder guidance says livestream monetization is available to channels in the YouTube Partner Program. Archives and deletion
YouTube says livestream archives upload to the channel automatically by default. OneStream Live also documents an advanced option to delete a destination post after a stream ends. Check the current settings for the broadcast and decide whether you want the YouTube replay retained; the result depends on the settings and destination behavior in use. Common problems and what to check
- You cannot find Repeat Stream. Confirm that you are creating a prerecorded stream or webinar, not using a live studio workflow. The recurrence guide does not specify the plan tier for this control, so check the feature availability in your account or ask OneStream Live support.
- The broadcast does not reach the intended channel. Open Social Platforms and verify that the YouTube account is connected and authorized. Then return to the broadcast setup and check that the intended destination is selected.
- YouTube will not let the channel livestream. Review YouTube’s eligibility requirements: verification, the absence of a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and its minimum age rule. Resolving a OneStream Live setting cannot override a YouTube restriction.
- The repeat pattern is not what you expected. Recheck the first scheduled time, the number in Repeats Every, the Days or Weeks interval, and the Occurrence count. The guide describes a set number of repeats, not an unbounded schedule.
- You expected YouTube to notify or promote viewers automatically. YouTube’s reminder and upcoming-event features depend on the scheduled YouTube event and viewer choices. Share the applicable stream URL yourself if you want to promote it in advance.
- You cannot find the replay afterward. Check the YouTube archive and OneStream Live’s destination-post deletion setting. A configured deletion action may change whether the destination post remains after the stream.
