YouTube does not document a feature that automatically schedules a whole playlist to publish on recurring weekdays. Instead, schedule each devotional video separately for its intended date, time, and time zone in YouTube Studio, then organize the videos into weekday or theme playlists.
Plan a sustainable weekly calendar in IST
Start with the cadence you can maintain, then assign each release a weekday, devotional theme, video, and intended time in Indian Standard Time (IST). YouTube recommends weighing frequency, consistency, content volume, and production time, and planning ahead. Its guidance does not identify a universally best weekday or prayer hour for devotional viewing; use your own audience needs and channel analytics rather than assuming one.
IST is UTC+05:30, as stated in a Department of Consumer Affairs draft rules document. Because that source is a draft, treat the offset here as a planning reference, not a claim about the document’s final legal status. Department of Consumer Affairs draft rules
Schedule each devotional video in YouTube Studio
- Prepare the recording. Upload the finished video through YouTube Studio’s upload flow.
- Set its release. In the upload flow, choose the scheduling option, then select the intended publication date, time, and time zone. Check that the selected time zone matches the calendar you planned in IST.
- Confirm the scheduled status. YouTube says a scheduled video remains private until its scheduled publication time, when it becomes public. Check the video details in Studio before relying on the release.
- Repeat for each release. Create a separate scheduled publication for each video in the weekly calendar. YouTube’s documented scheduling workflow applies to individual videos, not an automatic recurring playlist release.

Add videos to weekday or theme playlists
Scheduling publication and managing a playlist are separate tasks. Add each video to the intended weekday or theme playlist in its upload details, or manage the playlist separately in YouTube Studio. You can create and edit playlists and reorder their entries; arranging videos in a playlist does not set their publication times. See YouTube Help: Create and manage playlists.

Choose a Series playlist only for an ordered sequence
If the videos form a formal sequence meant to be watched together, you can consider marking the playlist as an official Series playlist. YouTube states that the account must be verified and a video cannot belong to more than one Series playlist. A weekday collection organized by theme does not automatically need to be a Series. Decide whether a Premiere or Community post helps
Use ordinary scheduled publication for a straightforward release
Ordinary scheduling makes an individual video public at its selected time. It is appropriate when viewers simply need to find the recording after release.
Use a Premiere when the shared start matters
A Premiere creates a public watch page before release, where viewers can set reminders and chat during the event. It is an optional format for an individual upload, not a playlist scheduler. Consider it when you want viewers to gather for a shared start and can promote the event in advance. See YouTube Help: Set up a Premiere.

Schedule a Community post as a separate announcement
A scheduled Community post can announce the program and include a playlist URL, but it does not schedule the videos or playlist. Use it only if a separate reminder or announcement is useful. See YouTube Help: Create a post.

YouTube says the “Published on” date displayed on a watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time (PST). For a scheduled release in a time zone ahead of PST, the watch-page date may differ from the date shown in Studio. If the calendar date displayed to viewers matters, review YouTube’s scheduling guidance and verify the planned date in the interface.
