Short answer: You can still create a Roblox pass (often called a “gamepass”) in Creator Hub, but you cannot reliably assume that a pass will sell through a PLS DONATE booth in 2026. Roblox Creator Hub says cross-game pass sales were disabled starting May 30, 2026. Roblox has not confirmed in its general documentation how PLS DONATE currently handles booths after that change, so treat the old workflow as potentially unavailable and check current Roblox and PLS DONATE notices before advertising a pass.
What changed for PLS DONATE sellers
The historic setup depended on a pass created under one experience being offered for sale inside another experience. Roblox’s current Creator Hub documentation states: “Starting May 30, 2026, cross-game pass sales will be disabled.” Since that date has passed, a pass made under your own experience may not appear, may not be purchasable, or may behave differently in PLS DONATE.
Roblox’s official guidance recommends Robux transfers for games that rely on cross-game sales. It does not document a seller-controlled switch that restores the old PLS DONATE pass method, and it does not verify PLS DONATE’s present booth implementation. Therefore, the steps below explain how to create and price a pass, not a guarantee that a booth purchase will complete.

Create the pass in Creator Hub
- Open Creator Hub and choose Creations. Select a published, accessible experience that you own or can manage. Passes are created under an experience; Roblox Support says creating them is free.
- Open Monetization > Passes. Choose Create pass.
- Complete the pass details. Upload an image, then enter the pass name, description, and category. Create the pass.
- Open its sales settings. Return to Monetization > Passes, select the pass, and open Sales.
- Enable the listing. Turn on Item for Sale, enter the price in Robux, and save your changes.
Roblox’s current labels use pass; “gamepass” is common player language for the same type of item.

Try adding it to a PLS DONATE stand—without promising a sale
- Join PLS DONATE and claim a booth.
- Use the booth’s edit or item-selection controls to look for the pass you just listed.
- If it appears, display it and have a trusted account verify whether the purchase screen opens and completes.
- If the pass is missing, cannot be purchased, or produces an error, do not keep changing the price as if that will fix the cross-game restriction. Check Roblox and PLS DONATE’s current announcements for the supported replacement.
Because the official documentation reviewed does not confirm PLS DONATE’s post-May 30, 2026 behavior, a visible booth button is not evidence that the transaction will settle successfully. Test before telling donors that a particular pass is working.

Roblox’s general “Monetize your games” documentation describes these allocations for in-game pass sales:

These percentages should not be used to promise a specific PLS DONATE payout while Roblox’s cross-game system is changing.

When the Robux becomes available
Roblox says pass-sale Robux is subject to a transaction fee and is held in escrow as pending Robux before release. The Support documentation does not state one universal number of pending days, so do not promise donors or yourself an exact waiting period. Check your Roblox transaction and pending-Robux records for the status of a completed transaction.

Why a donation is not automatically cash
DevEx eligibility is governed by Roblox’s rules. Roblox Support specifically excludes direct Robux purchases and gift-card redemptions from the definition of earned Robux and says Roblox determines whether Robux qualifies. A donation through a pass therefore does not guarantee that you can convert the resulting balance to money.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Pass does not appear: Confirm it was created under a published experience, that Item for Sale is enabled, and that the saved price is visible in Creator Hub. If those checks pass, the cross-game cutoff or PLS DONATE’s current implementation may be the reason.
- Purchase button fails: Record the exact error, avoid claiming the pass works, and consult current Roblox and PLS DONATE notices rather than repeatedly recreating the item.
- Robux is not in your spendable balance: Look for pending or escrow status; Roblox does not publish one universal release time on the cited Support page.
- You want to use transfers instead: Roblox’s Creator Hub guidance points games that relied on cross-game sales toward Robux transfers, but the reviewed documentation does not provide a PLS DONATE-specific seller procedure or confirm how its booths implement that route.
What to tell people at your booth
Use precise wording such as: “This is a Roblox pass created in Creator Hub. Roblox disabled cross-game pass sales beginning May 30, 2026, so availability through this booth may have changed.” Do not state that every purchase will reach you, that a fixed percentage is guaranteed in PLS DONATE, or that a donation is automatically DevEx-eligible.
