First, check whether you can use the soundtrack audio
Apple Music lists CONTROL Resonant (Original Soundtrack) by Petri Alanko and CONTROL Resonant. The album was released October 2, 2026, and contains 13 songs with a total running time of 51 minutes. Its listing credits ℗ 2026 Remedy Entertainment Plc, under exclusive license to Milan Records, a label of Sony Music Entertainment. Apple Music album listing
The PlayStation Store lists an Original Soundtrack with the Digital Deluxe Edition; the Standard Edition listing does not show one among its included items. Neither a game bundle nor a streaming subscription, by itself, establishes that you have a local audio file your phone can export. PlayStation Store edition listing
Use a lawful local download where available. On iPhone, Apple says a song must be downloaded to use it in GarageBand, and protected or dimmed tracks cannot be made into ringtones. Do not record or bypass protection on a stream. Apple’s GarageBand ringtone instructions

Make a CONTROL Resonant ringtone on iPhone
GarageBand can create a custom ringtone from an audio file in Files or an eligible downloaded song in your music library. The exported ringtone can be no longer than 30 seconds; GarageBand can shorten a longer export automatically. Apple Support: Create a custom ringtone on your iPhone
- Make sure the audio file is available in Files, or that the song is downloaded and eligible in your music library.
- Open GarageBand and start an audio recording project. Open Tracks, then the Loops Browser. Choose Files and tap Browse items from the Files app to find a local file, or choose an eligible downloaded song under Music.
- Drag the audio into the Tracks area. Trim the passage you want to 30 seconds or less, then move it to the start of the project so the ringtone does not begin with silence.
- Return to My Songs. Select the project, tap Share, then Ringtone. Name the ringtone and tap Export.
- After export, choose Standard Ringtone, assign the tone to a contact, or finish without assigning it. To use it for an alarm, edit or create a regular alarm in Clock, tap Sound, and select the exported ringtone if it appears in that picker. Available choices can depend on the alarm type.
Set a local file as an Android ringtone
Files by Google can set a local audio file as your phone’s ringtone. Menu names may vary by device or software version. Google Files Help: Set an audio file as your ringtone

- Open Files by Google and go to Categories → Audio.
- Find and play the audio file you want to use, then tap More → Set as ringtone.
- If prompted, tap Continue and enable Allow modify system settings. Look for the confirmation that the ringtone was set.
Choose a local file as an Android alarm
Google Clock lets you select downloaded audio for an alarm. This is separate from choosing music through a supported music-service integration: a streaming selection does not create a ringtone file. Google documents account and service limitations for those integrations, and availability of CONTROL Resonant through them is not established. - Open Clock and create an alarm or edit an existing one.
- Tap the alarm sound, choose Add new → Your sound file, then select the downloaded track.
