You can run a continuous Hindu devotional music stream on YouTube from another country, but first confirm that you have the rights to stream every recording and composition in the territories you intend to reach. YouTube scans live streams for third-party content, and even a valid license may not prevent an interruption unless the rights holder allowlists your channel. Once the rights and channel eligibility are in order, you can use an encoder on a computer or a cloud service such as StreamNeo to keep uploaded videos looping.
Check that your channel can go live
- Your channel must be verified, and it must not have had a live-streaming restriction during the previous 90 days.
- YouTube states that live streamers must be at least 16 years old.
- YouTube supports several ways to go live, including an encoder, mobile, webcam, and console. This guide focuses on the encoder workflow for a planned continuous music broadcast.
These are channel and platform eligibility conditions, not a guarantee that a particular stream will remain live. YouTube lists a maximum of 10 active streams per channel and three per stream key. Those are simultaneous-stream limits, not a promise of 24/7 uptime.
Clear the music rights before building the stream
A devotional subject does not automatically make a recording free to broadcast. A song can involve separate rights in the composition and in a particular recording; buying a track, finding it labelled “free,” or knowing that a hymn is old does not by itself establish permission for a continuous YouTube livestream.
YouTube’s live-stream terms put responsibility on the creator to have the rights needed to exploit the live content worldwide, including music licensing rights from artists, labels, publishers, and other royalty participants. The terms also require compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements in the live-stream territory. “From abroad” does not identify one legal regime: check requirements in the country where you operate and the territories for which your music rights must apply.

Check each track and recording
For every item in your playlist, establish the rights for the actual recording and underlying composition. Confirm that permission covers continuous live streaming, the intended territories, and archived playback if you plan to keep a replay. If a license is limited by territory, duration, platform, or use, do not assume it covers a worldwide, always-on YouTube broadcast.
Request channel allowlisting
YouTube scans live streams for matches to third-party content. A match can cause a placeholder image to replace the stream; if the content continues, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the broadcast. YouTube advises creators who have licensed content to ask the rights owner to add the channel to its allowlist. A license alone may therefore be insufficient to avoid a live interruption.
Decide whether to archive
If YouTube archives the live stream, the archive may receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. Make the archive decision with the same rights scope in mind as the live broadcast, and do not treat a clean live session as proof that the archive is cleared.

YouTube says music described as free can still be flagged. Its Creator Music usage details do not permit Creator Music licensed or revenue-sharing tracks for livestreams, so do not use those tracks for this continuous live format.
Outdated Drivers Are Slowing You Down

YouTube supports encoder streaming, but does not establish a specific software version, computer specification, bandwidth requirement, bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval. Use YouTube’s current encoder guidance and the settings appropriate to your software and source media rather than treating an unverified number as a platform requirement.
- Prepare a rights-cleared playlist. Organize the recordings you are entitled to stream. Decide whether the YouTube broadcast will be archived, and verify archived-playback permission for each item if so.
- Open YouTube Studio and create a live stream. Choose the encoder workflow in the live control room. Set a clear title and description for the devotional programming, and select the audience and visibility options appropriate to your channel.
- Copy the stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it or share it with people who should not be able to send a feed to your channel. Use the stream key and server details shown by YouTube for that broadcast.
- Configure the encoder for your source. Select the audio/video input or playlist output, and use settings supported by both your software and YouTube’s current instructions. Check that the audio is audible and not distorted and that the visual presentation is intentional. Do not assume a setting from another creator applies to your connection or media.
- Start the encoder and check the preview. Wait for YouTube to receive the feed, review the live control room for warnings, and confirm the picture and sound before making the stream public or relying on it for continuous operation.
- Monitor the broadcast. Keep an eye on YouTube Studio and the encoder for rights warnings, feed loss, or other alerts. Test privately or with a limited audience before launch; this is a prudent operational step, not a guarantee against a later interruption.
Choose a looping workflow that fits your operation
A computer encoder gives you direct control over the broadcast but depends on the computer, encoder, and connection continuing to operate. YouTube also supports mobile, webcam, and console live workflows, though those may not suit a continuous playlist setup. The platform sources cited here do not specify the hardware or network capacity required for a 24/7 broadcast, so validate your actual setup rather than relying on a generic minimum specification.

If you do not want a home computer to run the stream, StreamNeo is the first cloud option to consider: it loops uploaded videos to YouTube from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers the first day free. StreamNeo is for uploaded videos, not a live camera feed.
Or let it run in the cloud
- Upload a recording or build a playlist.
- Add your YouTube stream key once.
- Go live; StreamNeo loops the uploaded video from the cloud.
- Nothing has to stay running at home, so your computer can be off.
- Your upload streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot rather than a quality tier.
- StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
- The first day is free with no card required. Monthly: $9.99 per month.
Each slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, looping and playlists, and support from the StreamNeo team. The same product is included regardless of billing length. Review StreamNeo, then start the free first day. Cloud hosting does not change your responsibility to clear the music rights or resolve YouTube copyright matches.
Troubleshoot common launch problems
You cannot start a live stream
Check channel verification, age eligibility, and whether a live-stream restriction has occurred within the previous 90 days. If the channel is restricted, changing encoder settings will not remove the channel-level block.

The stream shows a placeholder or stops
A third-party match may have triggered YouTube’s copyright handling. Check YouTube Studio for notices, identify the matched material, and contact the rights holder about permission and channel allowlisting. Do not simply restart the same un-cleared content.
You have a license but the stream is still interrupted
Ask the relevant rights owner to allowlist your channel. YouTube explicitly warns that licensed content may still be interrupted if the channel is not allowlisted.
A replay receives a claim after the live session
That can happen when an archived stream is checked after it ends. Revisit the archive rights in your agreement and the claim details; live permission should not be assumed to include replay use.

The encoder is not reaching YouTube
Verify that the stream key and server details match the current YouTube live control room, that the encoder is sending the intended source, and that YouTube is not displaying an account or stream warning. The cited platform material does not establish universal bitrate, network, or hardware values to diagnose every failed connection.
Costs and preparation
The computer-encoder route may involve costs for equipment, electricity, internet access, and monitoring, but the available platform information does not provide a minimum specification or a defensible universal cost estimate. A cloud service substitutes a service fee for keeping a local machine and connection running; compare the actual plan length and workflow you need. Before either approach, settle the rights, archive choice, and channel eligibility because neither equipment nor hosting grants music permission.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a devotional song being in the public domain clear a particular recording?
Not necessarily. Public-domain status of a composition does not by itself establish the rights status of a particular recording. Confirm both for the version you plan to broadcast.
Can I use a Creator Music track in a 24/7 live stream?
No. YouTube’s Creator Music usage details do not allow its licensed or revenue-sharing tracks for livestream use.
