To run a 24/7 YouTube stream with Gyre, first make sure your channel can livestream, then upload prerecorded video files to Gyre Storage, arrange them in a playlist, connect your YouTube channel, and start or schedule the broadcast. Gyre runs the stream from its servers after setup, so your computer does not need to remain on; you still need to check the live broadcast and its settings in YouTube Studio.
Check YouTube livestream eligibility first
Before setting up Gyre, confirm that your YouTube channel is verified and has had no livestreaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. YouTube also requires livestreamers to be at least 16 years old. See YouTube Help: Get started with live streaming for current eligibility details.
- Verify the channel you intend to connect.
- Check for current or recent livestream restrictions.
- Make sure the person operating the livestream meets YouTube’s age requirement.
Choose a Gyre plan for your stream needs
Compare simultaneous streams, resolution and frame-rate limits, storage, file count, playlist and scheduling access, watermark, and billing terms before choosing. Gyre’s product page displayed the following plans and figures on October 3, 2026; they are vendor-published, not independently verified, and may change. Check Gyre’s pricing page for current availability, billing intervals, prices, and inclusions.
| Option | Simultaneous streams and quality | Storage and files | Other listed details | Displayed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trial | One Full HD stream | 20 GB; up to 15 files | Gyre watermark; seven-day trial | Free trial |
| Start | One Full HD stream | 35 GB | Other limits and feature access: verify current plan page | $49 per month |
| Start+ | Four HD streams or one 4K stream | 75 GB | Other limits and feature access: verify current plan page | $99 per month |
| PRO+ | Eight HD streams or two 4K streams | 150 GB | Other limits and feature access: verify current plan page | $169 per month |
Gyre’s displayed figures do not establish every plan’s frame-rate limits, file cap, watermark status, playlist or scheduler access, or billing options. Confirm those details for the plan you select rather than assuming features carry over between tiers.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Prepare the prerecorded video files
Gyre’s documented workflow requires prerecorded video files to be uploaded to Gyre Storage; a video already published on YouTube is not automatically available as a source file in Gyre. Make sure you have the source file and permission to use every visual and audio element in it. YouTube’s copyright rules still apply to a looping broadcast, and repeating a video does not establish that you have the rights to its music, game footage, or other material.
- Gather the original video files you want to broadcast and check that you have the rights or licenses needed for YouTube livestreaming.
- Review Gyre’s current video preparation guidance for supported file and preparation requirements.
- Choose an output that matches your intended viewing quality and the limits of your Gyre plan. YouTube’s guidance for HD and Full HD livestream settings can help you check the chosen output.
Upload, build the playlist, and connect YouTube
- Upload to Gyre Storage. Sign in to Gyre and add the prerecorded files to its storage. Wait for uploads to finish before building the broadcast.
- Arrange the playlist. Put the files in the order you want viewers to see them. Enable looping or configure scheduling if those controls are available on your chosen plan.
- Connect the channel. Use Gyre’s channel connection or authorization flow to link the YouTube channel that passed the eligibility check. Review the account and channel shown before granting access.
- Configure the broadcast. Select the playlist and set the available stream options in Gyre. Check the destination channel, title, visibility, and start or schedule settings before launch.
- Start or schedule. Launch the stream from Gyre’s dashboard or schedule it using the controls provided by your plan. Then open YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room and confirm the broadcast appears live as intended.
Gyre documents the upload → playlist → connect → start or schedule workflow. Exact dashboard labels and feature availability can change, so follow the current controls shown in your account.

Check monetization and content policy settings
A running stream is not automatically monetized. Gyre reports that broadcasts created through third-party tools follow the channel’s default monetization setting for such broadcasts; if that setting is off, monetization may begin disabled. Confirm your channel’s current settings and eligibility in YouTube Studio. Gyre also reports that its integration can set mid-roll behavior on an eligible broadcast, but that does not guarantee ad delivery or revenue.
Looping itself does not guarantee monetization, discovery, or audience growth. Review YouTube’s current copyright and monetization rules for your content, and make sure the video provides value that viewers can actually watch rather than relying on repetition alone.

What runs after you start the stream
Gyre describes its service as cloud-based: after the files are uploaded and the broadcast is configured, its servers send the stream to YouTube. Your computer can be turned off while that broadcast continues. This is a description of how Gyre is designed to operate, not a promise that interruptions cannot occur; monitor stream health in YouTube Studio and be prepared to restart or troubleshoot if the connection drops.
Common setup problems and fixes
- You cannot connect or start a livestream: verify the channel and check its livestream restriction status and age/eligibility requirements in YouTube Help and Studio.
- A video is missing from the playlist: confirm it is uploaded to Gyre Storage, not merely available on your YouTube channel, and check that the upload completed.
- A playlist or scheduling control is unavailable: check whether the selected Gyre plan includes that feature and confirm current plan limits.
- The broadcast is not visible as live: check the selected YouTube channel and broadcast status in Gyre, then verify the event in YouTube Studio’s Live Control Room.
- Monetization is off: inspect YouTube Studio’s channel defaults and the individual broadcast settings, and confirm the channel and content meet YouTube’s eligibility and policy requirements.
- The stream stops or loses connection: check stream health in YouTube Studio and the Gyre dashboard, then follow the service’s current recovery guidance. Cloud operation removes the need to keep your own computer running, but it does not eliminate the possibility of an interruption.
Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a simpler YouTube-only option for looping uploaded videos, StreamNeo keeps the stream running from the cloud: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home; videos stream as uploaded at any quality up to 4K 60fps for one flat price per slot, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month.
