Add Spin Wheel as a built-in source in Streamlabs Desktop, then customize and save its entries and appearance in the Streamlabs dashboard. You do not need a widget URL or browser source for this Desktop setup.
Configure the wheel in the Streamlabs dashboard

Sign in to the Streamlabs dashboard in a browser and open All Widgets.

Find and open Spin Wheel.

Edit the wheel entries—the options it can land on. The setup guide gives T-shirts, mousepads, and water bottles as default examples; replace them with choices that suit your stream.

Adjust the available appearance and behavior controls. Documented options include section weights, font size, text color, wheel speed, ticker image, and the image in the wheel center. A higher section weight makes a slice larger; a lower weight makes it smaller. Streamlabs’ product page also describes controls for categories, colors, font, images, spin sound, weighting, and ordering. The exact controls may change, so use the live dashboard as the authority for what is currently available.

To preview while editing, select Launch beside the widget URL. Select Save Settings to save your changes. To reset the widget, select Defaults, then Save Settings.
Add Spin Wheel to a Desktop scene

Open Streamlabs Desktop and select the scene where the wheel should appear.

In the Sources panel, select +, choose Spin Wheel, and select Add Source.

Name the source so you can identify it later, then select Add Source again.

Review any settings shown and select Done. The wheel should now appear in the current scene.
Sources are added to scenes individually. Add the Spin Wheel source to each other scene where you want it visible.

Use the right setup for your streaming software
For Streamlabs Desktop, use the built-in Spin Wheel source. You do not need to copy the widget URL or add a browser source. For XSplit or other streaming software, Streamlabs’ guide instead directs users to copy the unique widget URL from Spin Wheel settings and add it as a browser source, then set its dimensions and position. Streamlabs also describes an OBS plugin or browser-source option for OBS.

Streamlabs’ general widget troubleshooting guidance recommends these checks. They are general widget suggestions, not Spin Wheel-specific diagnostic guarantees.

Check source order: Make sure the Spin Wheel source is not covered by another source higher in the scene’s layer order.

Try the browser hardware-acceleration setting: Change the setting and see whether the widget appears.

Restart Streamlabs Desktop: Restart after checking the layer order and hardware-acceleration setting.
Use weights carefully
Section weight controls slice size: increasing a section’s weight makes it larger, and decreasing it makes it smaller. Streamlabs’ documentation does not establish that this control provides a statistical fairness or randomness guarantee, so do not treat slice sizing as proof of either.
