To show bhajan lyrics on a 24/7 YouTube live stream, prepare a video or visual feed that displays the lyrics, send it to YouTube through an encoder, and keep the source and encoder running—or use a cloud service to loop an uploaded video. Before going live, confirm your channel is eligible and that you have the rights for the music, recording, performance, and lyrics you plan to use. YouTube supports encoder streaming, but does not prescribe a particular lyric-overlay app or guarantee an uninterrupted 24/7 stream.
Choose how to build and send the lyric presentation
YouTube lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console as ways to go live. An encoder is a practical choice for a composed presentation—such as lyrics over a background image with bhajan audio—but it is not mandatory. You can prepare the visual presentation in software that suits your production; YouTube’s setup guidance does not endorse a specific lyrics or overlay application.
For a continuous presentation, prepare the material as a video or a repeatable sequence of slides. Keep the lyric text easy to read against the background, use short lines, and leave it in a consistent position. These are production recommendations, not YouTube format requirements. Your computer and encoder need to remain on and connected for as long as you use a local setup.
Set up the YouTube live stream
- Check channel eligibility. YouTube says the channel must be verified and have no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days. Its guidance also sets a minimum age requirement. - Prepare the lyric video or feed. Arrange the lyrics and audio in your chosen presentation software or encoder workflow. Review the complete video—including transitions, backgrounds, and any credits—for readability and rights clearance before streaming.
- Create or select the live stream in Live Control Room. Choose encoder streaming and obtain the stream URL and stream key provided for the broadcast. YouTube supports reusing stream settings, as well as auto-start and auto-stop options. Read the current settings before enabling them so they match your workflow. YouTube: Stream settings
- Enter the connection details in your encoder. Copy the YouTube stream URL and key into the matching fields in your encoder, then start the encoder and check the Live Control Room preview and stream status. Treat the stream key like a password: anyone with it may be able to connect an encoder to your stream. Do not publish it in a lyric video, description, or public post.
- Monitor the broadcast. Check the stream and audio after it starts, and keep an eye on Live Control Room for warnings. A 24/7 goal requires a plan for power, internet, encoder or source failures, and YouTube interruptions; the documented setup settings are not an uptime guarantee.
Clear the rights for every part of the bhajan
Devotional subject matter does not by itself make a particular recording, lyric edition, translation, or performance free to stream. A bhajan presentation may contain distinct works and rights: the underlying composition, a sound recording, a performance, and written lyrics or translated text. YouTube identifies sound recordings and written works as categories that can be protected by copyright. The permission you need depends on the actual material and the territories where it will be available.

YouTube’s live-stream terms place the responsibility on the content provider to have the necessary rights for worldwide use on Google services, including applicable music licensing rights and territorial approvals. Know what can happen during a live stream
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If it detects a match, it may issue a warning and replace the stream with a placeholder image; continued use can interrupt or terminate the broadcast. Even if you have a license, a live stream can still be interrupted when the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. Confirm the arrangement with the rights owner before going live and, where possible, test the exact material and channel setup. YouTube: Live stream copyright

Do not treat Creator Music as live-stream clearance
YouTube says Creator Music tracks are for long-form videos, not live streams or Shorts. Its availability page describes access for U.S. YouTube Partner Program creators, with expansion outside the U.S. pending; that availability does not change the live-stream restriction. YouTube also recommends its Audio Library for copyright-safe music. For any third-party track described as “free,” check the license and permitted uses rather than relying on the label alone. With a do-it-yourself encoder setup, the source video or slide sequence, encoder, computer, and internet connection all need to keep working. YouTube’s documented encoder settings explain how to connect and reuse settings, but do not establish a complete resilience plan or promise uninterrupted service. Plan how you will notice a failure and restart the feed, and avoid assuming that a live stream will recover automatically.
