Open TacSim to start Valhalla Protocol or Jungle Heist. To unlock New Game+ or 00 difficulty, finish the entire campaign first.
Where to find the Extended Operations content
Install Update 1.3.0, then open TacSim and select either of its new activities: Valhalla Protocol or Jungle Heist. IO Interactive’s [official announcement](https://www.ioi.dk/007-first-light-free-dlc-out-now/) and [Update 1.3.0 patch notes](https://support.007firstlight.game.com/hc/en-us/articles/33683563727133-Update-1-3-0-Patch-Notes-Free-DLC-Extended-Operations) identify the activities and their modes, but do not document every menu button. Look for the activity by name rather than relying on a specific button sequence.
The update also adds Photo Mode, with options for camera position, lens, filters, brightness, poses, overlays, and frames. It is a capture tool, not a separate TacSim operation.
Choose a TacSim activity
| Activity | Setting and format | Objective and replay variation |
|---|---|---|
| Valhalla Protocol | Slovakian mountains; four missions with day and night variations. | Drive the Aston Martin Valhalla, use campaign weapons against targets, and pursue time bonuses and a high score. Challenge sets vary. |
| Jungle Heist | The Pearl Hotel in Vietnam; the full property, including the rooftop, is playable. | Recover valuable or classified documents from a safe inside a guarded villa. Attempts differ, and the redesigned villa interior offers more stealth opportunities. |
Valhalla Protocol
Select Valhalla Protocol in TacSim and play its four missions. The activity combines driving with combat: take down targets, seek time bonuses, and aim for a high result across the missions. Day and night conditions and different challenge sets provide variation.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For completion, the official description establishes finishing the four missions. It does not set out a required medal threshold or a single checklist of optional challenges, so a high score or clearing every challenge should not be treated as a verified unlock requirement.
Jungle Heist
Select the Vietnam operation in TacSim. Bond returns to The Pearl to retrieve documents from a safe inside a guarded villa. IO Interactive describes the villa interior as redesigned to create more stealth opportunities; the entire property, rooftop included, is in play. Each attempt can differ.

| Option | How to unlock and start | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| New Game+ | Finish the entire campaign, then start the campaign again through New Game+. | Choose the replay from the beginning or a completed checkpoint. Select unlocked outfits through the journal and change gadgets during missions, but only use gadgets already introduced at that point in the story. |
| 00 difficulty | Complete the campaign, then choose 00 difficulty for a replay. | The hardest difficulty: enemies react faster and hit harder, gadget resources restore only a fraction of their usage, and combat timings are tighter with less tolerance for mistakes. |
You can also replay on Easy, Normal, or Hard with custom outfits and gadgets in New Game+; 00 is not required for customization.
