You can use OBS Studio to send a continuous Bengali Rabindra Sangeet program to YouTube, but OBS does not provide permission to broadcast the music. Before building the stream, clear the rights for each recording and composition, check whether the rights holder must allowlist your channel in Content ID, and plan to keep your encoder and internet connection available for the entire broadcast.
Before you stream: clear the rights to every track
Make a track-by-track inventory before putting music into OBS. For each selection, identify the sound recording, the underlying composition, and any arrangement you plan to use. Secure permission for the intended YouTube livestream use; if you want the broadcast to remain available as a replay, confirm that the permission also covers archived playback. YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions make the content provider responsible for having the necessary rights, including music licensing rights involving artists, record labels, publishers, and other royalty participants.
Do not assume that a track is cleared because you bought a copy, found it online, credit the performer, or describe it as “royalty-free.” Copyright status cannot be inferred from the Rabindra Sangeet genre or the age of a composition: a recording and an arrangement can have rights distinct from the composition.
Ask about Content ID allowlisting
YouTube scans livestreams for third-party content. A match can interrupt or terminate a stream. If you have licensed music, ask the relevant rights holder whether your channel needs to be added to its Content ID allowlist. YouTube’s guidance says, “If you’ve licensed third-party content to use in your stream, ask the owner of the content to add your channel to their allowlist through Content ID.” A license does not guarantee that automated detection will leave the broadcast uninterrupted.

If you plan to keep a replay, decide that before going live and confirm the archive rights separately. YouTube says Content ID claims on archived livestreams can be made after the live broadcast ends; live transmission and the treatment of the resulting archive are not necessarily the same.
Prepare your YouTube channel and OBS setup
Enable live streaming in advance
Complete YouTube account verification and enable live streaming before the planned broadcast. YouTube for Artists advises allowing at least 24 hours for live streaming to be enabled. Treat this as preparation lead time, not as a complete statement of every current eligibility condition. Check the live-streaming options currently shown for your account.

Build a program from authorized sources
In OBS, create a scene or set of scenes using only audio and visual material you are authorized to broadcast. Add your prepared music sources and any permitted artwork or other visuals, then arrange the sequence and transitions. OBS is open-source software that is free to use, including commercially, under its stated license; it does not grant rights to music or images added to a broadcast. See the OBS Help Portal for OBS guidance.
Connect OBS to the YouTube broadcast using the current connection controls in YouTube and OBS. Interface labels and account options can change, so follow the current instructions displayed in those products rather than relying on old menu paths. Keep your stream key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send a broadcast to your channel. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in YouTube before streaming again.

Test the whole program before going public
- Listen through the complete audio sequence, including the handoff between tracks and any loop point.
- Check that each scene transition works and that the intended visuals remain on screen.
- Confirm the OBS output reaches the intended YouTube broadcast and that audio is present there.
- Decide how you will monitor the stream and respond if the encoder, internet connection, or YouTube broadcast stops.
- Test the planned archive setting and make sure it matches the permissions you obtained.
A successful test helps catch setup problems, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or prevent a copyright interruption.
What a true 24/7 OBS stream requires
With the local OBS method, the computer running OBS and its network path to YouTube have to remain available for the broadcast to continue. A shutdown, power loss, operating-system restart, OBS failure, or internet outage can stop the feed. You will need a monitoring and recovery plan suited to your equipment and connection. The appropriate computer, power backup, audio interface, storage, and internet arrangement depends on what you already own and how your connection behaves; there is no single required purchase established for every creator.

Before committing to a long-running broadcast, estimate the ongoing costs of keeping your existing setup powered and connected, and compare them with any hosted option you are considering. Do not buy dedicated hardware until you have assessed whether your current equipment can run the program reliably enough for your needs.
